This deck’s goal is go for late-game card advantage, countering early threats and assembling the UrzaTron, so you can spend a lot of mana either by dropping a Bogardan Hellkite or Demonfire for the win, or locking down your opponent with Spell Burst with buyback. You can also suspend Aeon Chronicler to get more cards and as a huge threat itself, and play Wildifire to clear the board against faster decks. Everything else is pretty much card advantage, in one way or another. Sulfur Elemental is both handy at shutting down some white aggro decks, as well as setting a counter for control decks, since it has split second (and therefore, can’t be countered).

Adding Future Sight to the Mix:
Future Sight provides VERY fine additions to the archetype, in the form of Pact of Negation, which is a superb counter to have around, and it’s best friend and tutor: Tolaria West. Not only you get to tutor for Pact, but you also get to tutor for a missing Tron piece! Also, instead of playing Compulsive Research and ending up having to discard some precious cards, you can use Foresee (it’ll most likely come down the same thir turn Compulsive would, since you’ll probably be playing a Signet on turn 2 unless you want counter mana free) to dig deeper, refine your draws, well, be better! Since this is ALSO an attempt on a control deck, you can try out Delay, either in addition to Remand or completely over it, and devoting some slots to Logic Knot and Nix. In the sense of board sweepers, if Wildfire does not suit you, you can bump-help Demonfire AND still clearthe board without losing precious lands with the newly release Molten Disaster, not to mention you can give it split second! However, mind it that this way you can’t get fliers.

How to stop it:
Any way to prevent them from assembling the Tron is a great way to stop this deck, since it relies quite heavily on the big mana it produces. Also, if you think you can win a counter war (and deal with the uncounterable SUlfur Elemental), you can just let the "weaker" spells resolve, countering the really dangerous ones.

White:
White has some fine tools against the archetype, mostly in the form of Pull from Eternity and Temporal Isolation (on Bogardan Hellkite). Mana Tithe can slow them down, too, but may not be good enough early on. If you can resolve an early Knight of the Holy Nimbus, you’re in a very good position, too. If you can land a Calciderm down, it may go all the way. Seht’s Tiger can be pretty good, too, since it effectively stops a hellbent demonfire.

Black:
Black can be great playing control against this. If you can resolve a big enough Bitter Ordeal, you can take out one Tron piece completely, preventing them from ever assembling it at all! Also, for the Compulsive Research users, if they let a Tron piece in the graveyard, you can proceed to Extirpate it (and an entire part of it) from the game. So, as you may have guessed, heavy discard is also a very good strategy. Plague Sliver can go all the way, too, since it survives Wildifre and the disruption may prevent them from getting enough mana to Repeal it before it’s too late. Same goes for Tombstalker, even more so, since it can come down cheap, so you can actually replay it or pay for it, in case of Remand or Mana Leak, and Spell Bursting it is really hard.

Blue:
As mentioned above, you can try to out-counter them, but if you don’t rush fast enough and they assemble the Tron with a Spell Burst in hand, you’re toast.

Green:
Green can be PRETTY fast to try and get in enough damage quickly. Groundbreaker is very good early on, as is Call of the Herd. Green ALSO has Mwonvuli Acid-Moss, which can bust a Tron piece and accelerate, not to mention Krosan Grip which can take out those precious signets of theirs. Quagnoth can be pretty good, too.

Red:
Red has a pretty good shot against the archetype, with Hellkite itself, as well as any amount of instant-speed burn spells to make them tap out in their turn, leaving yours wide open. Demonfire (hellbent) and Sulfur Elemental (split second) are also fine additions, plus, red has the precious Stone Rain, Avalanche Riders and the AMAZING Blood Moon!

Golden:
You can resort to some nice options, like Wreak Havoc (uncounterable), Rumbling Slum (comes down early and survives Wildfire) and Shadowmage Infiltrator (may be easy to slip past their counter barrier, and provide enough card advantage for you to ride on, as well). Well cast Castigates, Hide//Seek (Seek) and even Conjurer’s Ban can help out some archetypes, too.

Colorless:
I added in this section, because you can add Ghost Quarter to pretty much ANY deck, and there you go, a way to stop the Tron, and an "uncounterable" one as well! However, this really shines when you can go "Ghost Quarter, Extirpate".
