If this is for fellowship block, then add the Balrog, Flame of Udun for sure, but I don’t think this deck will even slow your opponent down in expended. Once every minion you play are overwhelmed, it is kind of hard to set up another good hand for the double move. |

Okay, let’s get back to my decklist.
I’ve tested the deck out a bit and Archer of Harad is amazing. 3 cost for 2 archery is not bad at all, and I’ll be getting 2 archery out of him most of the time with Courtyard Parapet + whatever they bid.

I tweaked it a bit more. Here’s what it looks like now:
Shadow (33)
Archer Commander x2
Moria Archer Troop x4
Goblin Marksman x4
Goblin Bowman x4
Goblin Runner x4
Archer of Harad x4
Southron Bowman x4
They Are Coming x3
Host of Thousands x4
Total Price: $11.10
I played it against my brother’s Everyone Knows deck, which has 5 Hobbits with 4 vitality + 4 Ent Draught + Little Golden Flower + 2 Escape. He had tons of vitality (and also lots of healing because of Hobbit Appetite x2 + Simple Living x2), so he won the game but I did end up killing 2 Hobbits, and having 11 burdens on Frodo plus the 3 remaining companions being exhausted. Just a couple more wounds would’ve finished him off.

So against anything but vitality-enhanced Hobbits, you would’ve had him. Nice. |

Not necessarily, NB... after all, if they exert twice, then that’s basically the equivalent of taking 2 archery wounds. And if they run 9 companions I just play Anduin Banks for +10 archery.
But yeah, IB could potentially pose a problem, but I doubt it can "roast" the deck.

Anduin Banks doesn’t do anything if everything dies in maneuver.
But no, I would use What Are They to take care of them and Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow. Or Arrows Thick in the Air. (Ring-Bound IB is AWESOME!)
Kill before archery fire can be exchanged. Thus, skip to the regroup phase. |

I’m pretty sure that even if you kill everything in archery phase, the archery totals are still added up. I may be wrong, but I don’t think I am.

No, if there are minions in the shadow phase, all subsequent phases have to take place.
And, because the minion archery is totalled before the fellowship, killing minions with fellowship archery still leaves the minion total in play. BUT, killing the minions with archery actions stops them from adding to the total as the numbers haven’t been locked in yet.
