First of all, hi to everybody, this is my first time posting here.

After taking a look is some deck’s, asking somethings to NBarden, i’ve pasted some hours taking a look on this minions and i think they can do a good strategy. Probabily something around swarm, cuz they’re cheap, u can play Cirith Ungol Sentinel for free, and with one Advance Captain, Advanced Marauder, Advanced Regular, and one Advanced Scout, one of each in play, they be all roaming, damage +1, ,fierce for 18 twilight. I’m taking some difficulties to build this correct shadow, especially because i don’t have much experience...My plan is build this deck for fun, cuz i have one deck of besiegers, and they beat anything lol.

Well...that’s all...i’m waiting for answers, comments or suggestions.

Thanks !

Drop an axe or 2. Add another ithil stone. Chucking it away for -3 will help your swarm cause and then you can play it again.

Also adding some uruk regular is always fun. Maybe drop a patroller or 2.

Barren land is always good if you can fit it in.

Yes, I took a look on Uruk Regular, but he don’t take the effects of Advance Scout or Advance Captain...but, anyway, is fun for a swarm.

Any other suggestions ?

These guys are fun to play with, but I can’t see them being effective. They’re just sheer beatdown, and that’s it. The thing is, they can’t beatdown, because they’re weak. If you can somehow get some massive pumping for them, then you’d be set. But Rank and File is it, and its not the best pump out there.

But if you want to go with this strategy, add Grond, Hammer of the Underworld. That card is sweet! Just discard all their FP cards.

Gondor wraiths are cool. But they’re also just a fun deck. I would personally avoid them. Knights and rangers are cooler. But if you want a wraith deck...

(35)

Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms
The One Ring, THe Ring of Rings

Oathbreaker x 2 (Starting)

Cursed of Erech x 2
Shadow Host x 2
King of the Dead, Oathbreaker x 2
Aragorn, Driven by Need x 3
Sleepless Dead x 2

Swept Away x 3
Stronger and More Terrible x 4

Spectral Sword x 4

Anduril, Sword that Was Broken
Narsil, Blade of the Faithful
Seeing Stone of Orthanc
Ring of Barahir
Scroll of Isildur

Houses of Healing x 2

End of the Game x 4

Crazy healing for Aragorn, beat everything up with indestructible wraiths. Oh yeah, Isildur is HUGE. To be exact, resistance 11 and strength 12. Let him fight, he helps your wraiths get beat up.

End of the Game is a fun strength pump, and its almost always effective. Usually opt for the Damage +1 option. Although if you run against a crazy initiative wounding deck (for example, Harsh Tongues + Rout), I would opt for healing.

Thanks again NB, this is really a nice fellow...i’m confused cuz the big number of companions, but, with Swept Away, this will be not a trouble.

Only to finish this topic, can u give some idea about knight’s deck and rangers deck ? i’ll favorite this topic and start the search to this cards...i really love gondor =D

Thanks !

I never even considered Gondor Wraiths with a RB that makes you exert companions. That is brilliantly evil. Thumbs Up
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Yep. Faramir, Bearer of Quality is a good one as well.

Knights, that’s crazy wounding and running.

(33 cards)

Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms
The One RIng, The Ring of RIngs

Alcarin, Warrior of Lamedon
Ingold

Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth x 2
Aragorn, Captain of Gondor x 2
Elendil, High-King of Gondor x 2

Anduril, Sword that Was Broken
Narsil, Forged by Telchar
Ring of Barahir
Knight’s Mount x 4
Gondor Bow x 4
Aragorn’s Bow

Houses of Healing x 2

Fifth Level x 4
Fourth Level x 4
Sixth Level x 2
Citadel of the Stars

Wound like crazy. And Fourth Level gets evil as well.

Rangers....I’d use the Ithilien Blade.

(34 cards)

Boromir, Bearer of Council
The One RIng, The RIng of Rings

Faramir, Captain of Gondor
Gondorian Prowler x 4
Aragorn, Strider
Madril, Defender of Osgiliath
Denethor, Lord of Minas Tirith

Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
Faramir’s Bow

Citadel of Minas Tirith x 4
Houses of Healing x 2
Ring of Barahir
Athelas x 2
Ithilien Blade x 4
Anduril, Sword that Was Broken
Ranger’s Cloak x 4
Seeing Stone of Orthanc
Scroll of Isildur

What Are They x 4

And add threats like crazy, abuse Madril and Ithilien Blade like crazy and heal with Citadel of Minas Tirith.

Or you can go for ring-bound wounding.

(39 cards)

Boromir, Bearer of Council
The One Ring, The RIng of Rings

Faramir, Son of Denethor
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver

Mablung, Soldier of Gondor x 3
Damrod, Ranger of Ithilien x 3
Gondorian Ranger x 2
Madril, Loyal Lieutenant x 2

Ancient Roads x 4
Citadel of Minas Tirith x 4
Houses of Healing x 2
Ithilien Trap x 2

Arrows Thick in the Air x 4

Ithilien Blade x 4
Faramir’s Sword
Blade of Gondor
Ranger’s Bow x 4
Faramir’s Bow

And just wound like crazy with Ranger’s Bow, Faramir’s Bow, Pippin, WoBaS, Arrows thick in the Air, and Ithilien Trap. Heal with Citadel of Minas Tirith and Houses of Healing.

Hope that helps.

The Saga of Elendil can be a good addition for an expended wraiths deck to get higher strength with your enduring companion
