This will go in my pipeweed deck since I can easily pul him with momentous gathering along with a Gandalf condition (ship of smoke or long-steamed pipe) while I have merry, in the bloom of health and pippin, in the bloom of health in play.

Well seeing as im the only one who has ever thought the board is set is not crap i love this gandalf. As mm said 1 exertion is too OP but i find 2 is bit painful. Nevertheless he is 8 strength and cool. 4 from me.

5 all the way from me. The Board is Set wouldnt have been so bad if it werent a rare, in my opinion. I thought for a while up until recently it was bit naff, but if you can work a frodo-gandalf choke deck, how ace would the card be? And being able to pull it back with Final Account, bye-bye Dark Approach Very Happy

But yeah, Gandy is one of my fave cards, defo in the top 5 cards along with Aragorn, Smeagol, Boromir and Gollum

Wow, Gandalf with: -

Shadowfax, Greatest of the Mearas
Narya
Gandalf’s Staff (Any of them)
Radagast’s Herb Bag

Just one more card that can push vitality and you can cancel 4 events in one turn Very Happy I have 3 of the above myself (anyone happen to have a Radagst’s Herb Bag they’d trade me?!) so that’s 3 events cancelled in a turn, which is nothing to sniff at. Throw in some copies of The Board Is Set and you won’t have any trouble with Broken Orc cards Very Happy

Whu-oh. Looks like a bot broke through. Call security!
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!
