At the start of your fellowship phase, you may exert a Gondor man to play a Gondor follower from your draw deck.

Like it.

3 Many Answers for Many Questions Shire
Event * Fellowship
Spot an unbound Hobbit to heal that Hobbit for each Gondor follower you can spot. Then, if that Hobbit is unwounded, you may remove 2 threats.
"’I am nearly twenty-nine, so I pass you there; though I am but four feet, and not likely to grow any more, save sideways.’"

Wow. Threat removal AND healing. And still balanced! And promoting Gondor/Shire symmetry. Like it.

1 *Bergil, Son of Beregond Gondor
Follower
Vitality: +1
Resistance: +1
Aid - Add a threat.
Bearer must be a Gondor Man or unbound Hobbit.
Response: If bearer is about to take a wound, transfer Bergil to your support area to prevent that wound.
The boy drew himself up proudly. ’I am Bergil son of Beregond of the Guards,’ he said.

Nice. Balanced.

1 A Child’s Bravery Gondor
Event * Maneuver
Discard a Gondor follower to make an unbound companion strength +4 until the regroup phase.
’Do not tell me that he has changed his mind, and will send me away with the maidens! But no, the last wains have gone.’

Maybe strength +5. A little underpowered compared to the horns, right now, nobody would use it. Pre-horns, good, post-horns, just use Gamling.

’Forlong!’ men shouted. ’True heart, true friend! Forlong!’

Firstly, ’Man’ should always be capitalised. Secondly, this guy feels a little broken to me - a ranger of the north for any Gondor companion seems a bit much. I suggest reducing his vitaliy to 3, but if you still want him to be fat then his ability should maybe exert twice?

Very interesting, but again I think OP. Get rid of the skirmish ability or make it exert twice and he’s fine.

Ever so slightly OP. There’s nothing wrong with damage +1, +2 is pushing it for a 1 cost non-unique possession.

Conversely, this guy doesn’t need to cost 5, 4 would do just fine (he’s nowhere near as good as Glorfindel, for example).

Obviously all cases of ’man’ should be ’Man’. The straight damage boost might be too much, maybe a condition for it (like battleground, 3 captains etc.)

I don’t think there should be a choice in the first ability, it should happen whether you want it or not. Interesting card, though.

Same thing about ’Man’ I’m afraid. I would suggest the ammendmant: ’Heal a knight with resistance 5 or more (or 2 knights with resistance 7 or more)’ or something of a similar calibre, as it seems a bit cheap at present to do what it does.

But in the West the dying sun had set all the fume on fire, and now Mindolluin stood black against a burning smoulder flecked with embers.
