Okay, so we all know about Ted Sandyman, the first Hobbit minion...and I’m wondering. Is it allowable to use something like Strange-Looking Men to transfer a Free Peoples card onto him? It’s been suggested, but can Shadow cards bear Free Peoples cards?

If so, Ted would be an interesting counter to these cards...
Bilbo’s Pipe
The Gaffer’s Pipe
Hobbit Sword
Frying Pan
Elven Rope
Phial of Galadriel, Star-Glass
Orc Armor
Habits of Home
Salt from the Shire

As long as the requirements are met, then apparently yes.

Seeing as D has neglected to print any up to date rules or clarify ANYTHING in the CRD that really badly needs clearing up then we must assume the card does what it says. Currently i dont think the rules state that a free peoples card cannot be transferred to a shadow minion even if it reeks of stupidity and goes against all common sense.

Well, that is Decipher’s motto these days.

We’ve known that minions can bear Free Peoples cards, otherwise Fortification decks would be HORRIBLE.

Further, I fail to see a difference between transfering Great Shield or Flaming Brand to a Shadow Man with Strange-looking Men and transfering Hobbit Sword (or the others) to Ted.

Excellent points. This would be interesting, then, to pack as a counter to strong decks in your area. I’d love to use it to steal Frodo’s Hobbit Sword, or to ditch an annoying Phial!
