1 • Realms of the Elf Lords Elven

While you can spot 3 Elven followers or 3 Elf allies, the current site is a forest.
At any site 3 or any site 6, each Elf is strength +1.

Nothing awe inspiring but fair enough and more than useful in the right deck. Seeing as 3 and 6 represent rivendell and lothlorien id make it a strength and a resistance +1 boost.

Great, and changed!

Thanks guys.

Okay, now into Towers block, still without the Lord of the Rings.

2 • Battle of Helm’s Deep Uruk-hai
Condition • Support Area
At any site 7, each Uruk-hai is fierce.
While you can spot 2 Uruk-hai, each machine’s twilight cost is -1.
They heard the roar of voices and the thudding of the rams; and then in a sudden flash of light beheld the peril of the gates.

Was looking back through this thread and saw this:

I am well aware of the possible interpretations of which towers constitute the 2 in the title (there are a lot of towers in Middle-Earth.

Here are the main candidates:

Minas Anor (Minas Tirith) and Minas Ithil (Minas Morgul)
The Towers of the Teeth (ie. the towers on each side of the Black Gate)
Orthanc and Barad-dur

Thranduil

You know tolkien states the two towers are actually Minas Ithil and Orthanc? As also seen on his artwork on some copies (like the one i have) of the TT, a tower with the moon (minas morgul) and a tower with a pentagram (orthanc). The movies states them as orthanc and barad dur...

Fair enough, good machine game text, limited use on the site 7 thing, maybe add another site 8 all strength +1? Something like that?

Perhaps have this in the Isengard culture, especially since it deals with machines, but it’s not necessary since the text works with Uruks of any culture (even Sauron!). Solid card.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Really? I’d never seen that. And Orthanc and Minas Ithil seems a bit of tenuous link anyway.

DI: I chose the Uruk-hai culture simply because it worked for all Uruks, and also attack on helm’s deep is an Isengard card.

Okay, now for the last set in Towers block. This one took me a while:

3 • Ents of Fangorn Gandalf
Condition • Support Area
If you can spot 2 unbound Hobbits at the start of the maneuver phase, each Ent loses unhasty (and cannot gain unhasty) until the regroup phase.
At any site 8, each Ent is damage +1.
... the Ents are going to wake up and find that they are strong.

I would raise the cost to 3 and give it a spotting requirement. Thumbs Up
I had to put something here.

i’d raise the cost, but it doesn’t really need a spotting requirement, because you have to spot two unbound hobbits, and it only helps ents. so what are you gunna do? make it spot an ent? it’s not really useful if you can’t so...
