Okay, here’s what I started with. I LOVE pipes and pipeweeds, as you’ll see, and I also like the idea of The Three Hunters. I envision some type of Hunters deck with a lot of Gimli/Legolas synergy, and a Gimli tank of sorts (though there’s some stuff I’ll still need to trade for). Another potential is a threat-using deck focused around Pippin, Sworn to Service and Merry, Rohirrim Squire (and Aragorn, Driven By Need, which I’ll need to acquire some other way)...it’s a trio I’ve always wanted to try and build a deck around. I already have ideas for some cards I probably should have tried to get, like Nine-fingered Frodo and the Ring of Doom and one of the Two Towers starter decks, but I’ll likely place one more order before the 20th to cover that stuff.
How’s it look so far? Any recommendations on other things I should try and get in the next few days? Help a newbie out!

My second order (which Cobra will hopefully add to the first for shipping purposes) adds the following:

4 x Nine-fingered Frodo and the Ring of Doom $0.20
2 x LOTR TCG: The Two Towers starter deck - Aragorn $2.50
The TTT deck is especially awesome, since it has some terrific Gimli/Legolas synergy within. NFFatRoD was a must for the threats I intend to be adding. The rest are just filling in gaps; the allies are solely for use with A Royal Welcome to essentially give Gimli his own little hospital. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

For what you’re looking to build, seems like you’re on the right track.
But this new hunter keyword balony doesn’t hold any water. The old-school 3 Hunters deck is so much more fun. |
