In Narn i Hîn Húrin, due to the fact that the Ring is ages from being created, there will be nor Ring-bearer and no Ring. Instead, the Ring-bearer is referred to as the Adventurer, and the “Ring” is The Spell of Glaurung.

First, let’s take a look at the 2 versions of the Spell. Enjoy!

The Spell of Glaurung, Abominable Curse Ring
Strength +1
Vitality +1
Resistance +1
Maneuver: Add a burden to make the Adventurer fall under The Spell of Glaurung until the end of the turn.
While under The Spell of Glaurung, each time the Adventurer is about to take a wound, you may add a burden instead.
”…she knew nothing, and heard nothing, and remembered nothing.”

The Spell of Glaurung, Dragon-spell Ring
Vitality +1
Resistance +1
Maneuver: Exert the Adventurer to make him or her fall under The Spell of Glaurung until the regroup phase.
While under The Spell of Glaurung, the Adventurer gains hunter 3, and each time he or she is about to take a wound, you may add a burden instead.
”...and Túrin being under the spell of Glaurung hearkened to his words….”

Basically the The One Ring Such a Weight to Carry with the stats of Isildur’s Bane.

The Spell of Glaurung, Dragon-spell Ring
Strength +1
Resistance +2
Maneuver: Add a burden to make the Adventurer bear The Spell of Glaurung until the regroup phase.
While bearing The Spell of Glaurung, the Adventurer gains hunter 2.
”...and Túrin being under the spell of Glaurung hearkened to his words….”

Interesting, I like idea of it adding resistance. Neat idea.

I like the stats + abilty. Having it on until the end of the turn is great.

• The Spell of Glaurung, Dragon-spell Ring

Hmm...interesting. Adding a burden to have potential +2 strength. Maybe make it so it adds vitality +1 instead of strength, and just resistance +1, and then make the ability to exert to put the Spell on, so as not to defeat the purpose of the Resistance +2 of the Spell.

Otherwise, cool cards!

okay, you’re nice but come on! You don’t know what Narn i Hîn Húrinis? The Children of Hurin, that’s what it is. A tragic but beautiful story situated in early ages.........

The Tale of the Children of Húrin, a great book by Tolkien that was released a couple months ago.

Thanks for the reviews, guys! I edited the Spells a bit. Thumbs Up

After I get another review or two, I’ll post the Ring-be... I mean, Adventurers that are in this set. Razz

Well, it looks promising. Hopefully it will be fresh, in this way: that you don’t just swap the ring for a spell and that the rest doesn’t change. Liked the story a whole lot. Maybe you could do something with pride. Túrin was proud, and the more proud he became, the lower his resistanse....

Very interesting but balanced card.

What, no wound prevention? Rubbish! Once you add that in, it’s a cool Spell of Glaurung.

I think "use" or "fall under" would be better than "bear", but nice card.

Same note on "bear", but very cool and useful otherwise.
