Ah, beautiful Dor-lómin. Originally occupied by Fingon, this region was given to the Third House of the Edain as a fief. For 3 generations, Dor-lómin was home to the Edain of Hador’s House. Near the end of those years, Morwen Eledhwen gave birth to Túrin.

At the climax of those generations, the Men of Dor-lómin marched to the Nirnaeth Arnoediad (The Battle of Unnumbered Tears) and were killed, except for one man, who was captured and taken to Angband, where he was tortured, questioned, and imprisoned for 28 years until he was released.

Introducing the top dog of Dor-lómin who defied Morgoth himself: Húrin!

5Húrin, Lord of Dor-lómin White
Companion • Man
Strength: 9
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
To play, spot 2 White Men (or exert a White Man).
Fellowship: Exert Húrin twice to play a White Man from your draw deck or discard pile.
”There also stood Húrin, and he spoke to the men and gave commands….”

5Húrin, The Steadfast White
Companion • Man
Strength: 9
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
The move limit may not be decreased by Shadow cards.
Skirmish: Exert Húrin to play a White artifact or White possession on him from your draw deck (limit once per turn).
”Last of all Húrin stood alone.”

5Húrin, Son of Galdor White
Companion • Man
Strength: 9
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Hunter 1. To play, discard a White card from hand (or spot a White Man).
Each time Húrin wins a skirmish, you may discard a White card from hand to reinforce a White token or heal another White companion.
”Upon the right were stationed the host of Dor-lómin and all the valour of Húrin….”

Looks like a good companion to build the culture around.

Just for clarity, you should probably stick another White in front of "possession". But an awesome fighter. The ONLY potential downside is that you can throw him in with a bunch of White artifacts and White possessions for an AWESOME splash companion, but that’s actually not a bad thing, in my opinion.

Good. The hunter makes up for his slightly weaker text...in comparison to the other two.

I’d use any of these, especially The Steadfast. GP for AWESOME cards.

Hmmm cool but his ability might be a bit too good. You could do that and transfer all the possessions to other men and be set up instantly.

How about a limit on The Steadfast’s ability or a similar text to warrior of rohan?

Great cards overall Thumbs Up

Can I first say that the men in the Silmarrilion have stupid and annoying names? How are you supposed to tell the difference between Hurin, Huor, Turin and Tuor, for example? Other than that, he’s pretty cool.

Nice built in pump. Not much to say about these guys, really (which is probably a good thing).
