Some of you know that I went on a sort-of shopping spree with CC these last few months. I rounded up tons of cards and am now sitting pretty with a nearly complete play set (which consists of 4 of every card). I’m lacking in Hunters block, but most everything else is good.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I seem incapable of building interesting decks of late. It’s a bitter irony that, with so many cards, I am unable to come up with something "new."

I’m leaving for the Air Force at the end of this month, and I’m trying to spend as much time with my friends as possible. This includes playing LotR. I had six decks built but took them all apart last night out of frustration.

I would like your help. If you’ve got a neat or fun (not necessarily powerful) deck idea, please post it here so I can build it for my friends. I seem to have the most trouble with Free Peoples, but any Shadow help is extremely appreciated.

Thanks, guys!

Well, I’m looking more for Expanded decks (since I want to get something from all my cards). But I’ll take a look at those decks.

Thank you. GP

Here’s a fairly original Tale deck:

http://lotrtcgdb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=5172

It may not be SUPER good, but it’s decent and holds its own against casual decks. It has Pippin at like 30 strength, and then A Dragon’s Tale can discard tales to exhaust minions, which is subsequently picked off by Legolas + some wounding cards + Hand Axe. The fun part is that most people use a Dwarven Axe + Hand Axe, forgetting that you can instead wield 2 Hand Axes and have some sweet archery capabilities.

Oh, and if you need help finding cards from the later sets, check out my trade list please! You have some stuff from your list that I’d like to trade for.

Not sure if you’ve played it before, but I’ve got an extremely fun Ninja Gollum deck I currently run.

If you want it, I can post it.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz
