Hi, i’ve tried a new deck this time. We are playing all kinds of decks with some friends. I’d like some feedback on how to improve this deck.
At the moment we are playing from TTT until Bloodlines, so please think of this when improving it.

It’s just trying to keep boromir alive with conditions, healing with invigorated, removing burdens with Pippin HOSI and his events and conditions.
The southron do wounding and damage. The site path is mainly for boromir.
Thanks for looking!

Well...for starters, definitely add Daddy Twofoot, Next-Door Neighbor along with a couple more home and hearth. Hearts Raised is worthless as you shouldn’t have a problem with threats anyway. What, two? Maybe?

Love the touch with End of the Game. I’d pull Hidden Knowledge for perhaps some Guarded City, and a couple more possessions, particularly Ranger’s Cloak, since your using Sword of Boromir anyway.

If possible, Throne of Minas Tirith would be a good card. You can probably cut some Pledge of Loyalty, as you have Banners Blowing, Heirs of Gondor, and End of the Game. Don’t need that many events, unless you want to throw in Anarion. Smile Which isn’t a bad idea, but then it wouldn’t be solo, would it?

Nice deck. Needs a little work, but pretty solid.

Southrons, WHERE’S RED WRATH?!?!?!?!?!?!

Cut the Balrog for Southron Archer Legion. Some Raider Bow are in order as well. If you really want to go crazy, throw in some Harsh Tongues and 4x Rout. Evil with any Raider wounding build.

Then you can run that Suzerain of Harad and Haradrim Marksman. You should run Haradrim Marksman anyway, or the ring-bearer will become an archery pincushion.

Other card suggestions:

- Footman’s Armor (Response: If bearer is about to be overwhelmed, discard a Gondor fortification or a card from hand to make bearer strength +2). Nice in emergencies if you have to make a risky double move and don’t have the right cards in hand.

- Bump Home and Hearth to 4 copies and switch HoSI to WoBaS if you need more heavy duty burden removal. Can clear Boromir of wounds, too.

The skirmish angle for your Shadow side (Southron Savage, Mumak, Line of Defense) could be dropped in favor of more archery cards, if that’s the way you want to go.

- Agreed with NBarden on running at least Haradrim Marksman. A Ring-bearer sponge is annoying.

- Rallying Call (Threats cannot be removed by Free Peoples cards. Shadow: Remove 1 and play a Southron to add a threat.). Complements War Towers to get some threats going.

- Southron Marksman (Archer. Fierce. Archery: Exert this minion and remove a threat to make the minion archery total +1.). Could be nice if you’re maxing out on threats and need to convert some to immediate wounds.

- Ships of Great Draught. Grabs back what you need.

Under Foot is always fun if you decide to go the initiative route. Raider initative builds are the best out there, I really recommend them. Possessions AND conditions seizing initative, what’s not to love?

I personally love the Under Foot deck. Mega swarm, anyone?

Shotgun Enquea is also good splash for these decks.

I love Raider. Ideas keep hitting me, sorry for double posting.

Usually a swarm deck that uses Under Foot to reconcile your hand during the shadow phase and draw more minions. Nice if you can draw into more copies while you’re at it.

NBarden posted a wounding version here. Moria would be a nice match, too.

Also in terms of Raider support, I have a liking for the Firebomb deck with Black Sails of Umbar and Corsair Marauder (with Corsair Lookout for spotting purposes). Toss in Grima and Leechcraft for even more fun.

Ok, yesterday evening I played it and it worked better then expected. I played against a lurker uruk / gollum deck and I had a great time.
I lost because I didn’t move from site 8 to 9, but I could have won the game.

I think with a little tweaking and adaption this can certainly work. Thanks for all your help. Smile

NP. I love underfoot decks. They’re really good paired with filter decks, like Gondorian Captain/Base of Mindolluin. Razz Or something a little more PPE...

Corsairs are NPE. Sorry. They’re fun to use, but terrible to play against. YOU CAN’T BEAT THEM!

Beasterlings are fun, Southron wounding is always a blast, thanks to Harsh Tongues, Rout, Desert Sneak and Co, and some Red Wrath. Twisted Evil. Or you can go with wounding corsairs, use the Brute and Red Wrath, while fighting like mad with Wind that sped Ships. Again, this deck loves Desert Sneak and co.

Just some ideas.
