Okay, I was wondering if anyone plays any format except the typical formats, such as Expanded or Standard. If so, post here.
Here’s a list of formats and the people who play them.
Post what formats you play and I’ll get your name added to the appropriate lists.
Standard Players Cards from sets 7-19. X-list/R-list

Expanded Players Cards from sets 1-19 X-list/R-list

Open Players Cards from sets 1-19 No X-list/R-list
(none)
FotR Block Players Cards from sets 1-3. No X-list/No R-list
NBarden
TT Block Players Cards from sets 4-6. No X-list/No R-list
NBarden
RotK Block Players Cards from sets 7, 8 and 10. No X-list/No R-list. But nobody will play you if you run Gondorian Captain/Base of Mindolluin.
NBarden
WotR Block Players Cards from sets 11-13. No X-list/No R-list.
(none)
Hunter Block Players Cards from sets 15, 17 and 18. No X-list/No R-list.
NBarden
Movie Block Players Cards from sets 1-8, 10. Not sure about X-list/R-list, try to keep it PPE.
NBarden
Highlander Players Cards from sets 1-19. All cards restricted. No x-list.
NBarden
6-site Blitz 40/40+ deck, six sites. Site number for minions is -1.
Working on that. Not sure if it will work in SdA.
Different formats rock! |

What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

I tend to play Expanded. I’ve played standard (I think) but Expanded is much better in my opinion. |

Don’t forget Common Calamity, where you can’t use rares. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Great with Lost to the Goblins, too... well, back when we were essentially playing movie block.
---
Don’t have SdA but I guess I’ll answer the poll anyway:
Favorite format is Expanded, where I can use stuff from rotated sets and not have to deal with so much craziness. Long live Moria archery, BwAHAHA!!1 Ahem.
I’m fond of Movie Block as well due to the threat-friendly sites like Hall of the Kings, Crashed Gate, and Dagorlad. My old Besieger deck thrived on those. Always thought threats were a great new mechanism, unlike the vanilla bonuses of Enduring and Hunter.
And Fellowship Block for the nostalgia (lots of fun at Ford of Bruinen) and because it plays a bit differently. Well you could say that with every block, but it was cool having chump allies and rainbow fellowships and stuff like that. |

Standard, expanded, and open can all be found in the Decipher CRD.
I thought the Expanded and Open formats had X-lists. Thanks for responding, and great initiative NB! |
