On the other hand, English has one of the most varied vocabularies of any language on the planet. Your best friend for card titles should be a thesaurus - it has all the answers!
The themed titles are a great idea, though they could be more interesting.

Also resourceful X is way too powerful. Its going to be a bonus keyword like muster. Not something key to gameplay but a nice little addition.
Anyway im happy with the ring and the general feedback so on with the next culture! The Orcs.
Here’s a few ones to get you started with the new mechanisms.
Warrior Orc
Minion • Orc
Strength: 7
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
Invader
If the shadow has Ardor this minion is strength + 3 for each companion in the dead pile.
"New forces of the enemy were hastening.."
C
Underpowered. Ardor needs to be HUGE for the minions and small for the FP. Small abilities that may be a little OP for the FP can have Ardor attached to it to bring it down a little, but with the shadow, they just killed a companion! Make ’em huge!
That being said, add something else. Threats, damage, anything!
• Battlefield Master
Minion • Orc
Strength: 14
vitality: 3
Site: 4
To play spot an Orc.
While the fellowship is balanced this minion is fierce.
While the fellowship is unbalanced this minion is damage +1.
While this minion is at a battleground it is strength +2.
"... hewing any man that they found abroad, living or dead."
R
Hm...lose lose for the FP. for 14 strength PLUS that ability? OP
Warrior Goblin
Minion • Orc
Strength: 9
vitality: 2
Site: 4
Assaulter 2. Invader.
At the start of each skirmish involving this minion, if the shadow has Ardor, you may exert this minion to take an skirmish event into hand from your discard pile.
"The vanguard passed through the trenches of fire.."
R
Drop strength to 8 and up assaulter to 3. Nice. |

If a companion dies the shadow has Ardor for the rest of the turn. Simple as that. Like initiative.

Yes, it’s worth it (or at least, once per post). I had to go back and look up assaulter before. Plus, SoP is in the habit of handing out to those that do!

Thran explained it on the previous page if you want to look at the dictionary definition. I used it to mean like a burning desire, a focused intent. |

Minor issue: there should be a period after Invader, and a comma after Ardor. It’s also good practice NOT to have a space between + (or -) and the following number. The actual ability and all is fine, though.

Again, commas after "To play", "balanced", "unbalanced", and "battleground". I also agree with the others: 12 strength or cost, lest he be TOO good.

Interesting, but might be better at 8 strength and cost. Not entirely sure, though. Also, in the lore, always end unfinished sentences with at least THREE dots instead of just two.
Sorry to nitpick at little things, but most of the good comments have been taken already. |

Poot! I never usually space my +X’s. Thanks for the heads up about commas though Dain.
Changed cost on the master to 6.
Moving on. Bit of an arrows theme here. Enjoy!

I chose the assignment phase for this as i didnt want him to be able to do it in skirmish as it would be too hard, as thats when you’re most likely to get Ardor. This way you have to die in the archery to get Ardor.

While the fellowship is unbalanced and you can spot another card, the minion archery total is +1.
