Okay, so this is a new strategy of mine. The point is to take an obscure strategy, or keyword, or something like that, and make it work.

So, let’s have a go at it.

We’ll start with a Rohan keyword called Valiant.

Yeah, valiant had SO much potential. It was okay, in the end, but could have been much better. Heck, I think even villager was more useful overall....

Here are the first DCs!

2 •Realm of the Horse-Lords Rohan
Condition • Support Area
At the start of the maneuver phase, you may exert a minion for each valiant companion you spot.

1 Bow of the Horse-Lords Rohan
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be a Rohan man.
Archery: Exert bearer (or spot 5 valiant men) and discard this possession to make the fellowship archery total +2.

2 Spear of Rohan Rohan
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +1
Bearer must be a valiant man.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may wound a minion (or two minions if you can spot 3 other valiant men).

1 Bow of Rohan Rohan
Possesion • Hand Weapon
Bearer must be a Rohan man.
Archery: Exert bearer twice to make the fellowship archery total +1. Then, you may transfer this possession to a valiant man.

2 Rohan Mount Rohan
Possession • Mount
Bearer must be a Rohan companion.
If bearer is valiant, he is strength +1.
At the start of each skirmish involving bearer, you may exert a companion.

0 Hold! Rohan
Condition • Support Area
When you play this condition, add a token for each valiant man you spot.
At the start of the archery phase, you may remove two tokens from here to make the fellowship archery total +1.

4 Arrows of Rohan Rohan
Event • Archery
Exert a Rohan companion to make the fellowship archery total +1 for each valiant man you spot (limit: 5).

4 •Aragorn, Defender of the Hornburg Rohan
Companion • Man
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
Damage +1. Valiant.
Each time the fellowship moves, you may wound a minion for each valiant man you can spot.

I think 3 valiant men is good enough

don’t like it...cost too much

If you would call it Hold-on it would sound almost like Howdaw!

You’re trying to make them insane...why is valiant equal to unstopable killing power in your dreams?...Exert, wound...a bit powerful IMHO

Too good. Make it strengthy stuff (see reviews below).

Brackets are totally unnecessary. I’d make it cost 1 and just make it borne by a valiant Man (which should always be capitalised).

I like this one, but I think the original bearer should also have to be valiant.

Why are you making Rohan so good at archery? They’ve never been before. I honestly do not like it. I’d prefer a token card like this that would make valiant Men stronger by removing tokens.

Again, what have valiant Men got to do with archery? They should be about strength and honour and beating minions fair and square in a huge strength fight. Make it strength, and this card rocks!

Incredibly broken. You might as well read this card as ’Each time you move, discard all minions). That ability costs 3 and an exertion for GANDALF to do! Tone him down like hell, remove his unnecessary damage bonus and probably make him more to do with strength like my previous suggestions.

Good idea, and I salute you for it, but some more thought is needed on these cards, in my opinion.
