As a reminder, this is part of the second of 3 sets:
H1 - The Hobbit (300 cards, 110C 100U 90R)
H2 - The Battle of the Five Armies (200 cards, 70C 70U 60R)
H3 - The White Council (200 cards, 70C 70U 60R)
And it’s more or less complete, I just need the approval of the talented DCers of the cobracards forum!
Here is a (very brief) summary of the block mechanics featured in the first set:
Terror X (Each time this character is assigned to skirmish an opponent’s character, they may make that opponent exert X of their characters.)
Winged (This character can only take 1 wound per phase, regardless of its source.)
Locked - (A card that is Locked has blank game text, unless it is Unlocked. An ability or keyword that is Locked is nonexistent unless it is Unlocked.)
Unlocked - (A card can only be Unlocked if a card allows it to be. A card with no Locked text cannot be Unlocked.)

Ancient Kindred
Event • Maneuver
To play, spot 2 Elves (or 2 followers).
Each card is Locked until the regroup phase. Each character may exert to Unlock their game text, and the game text of each card they bear, until the regroup phase.
Dwarves don’t get along well with them.

Bearer must be an Elf.
Archery: Discard this possession to exert a minion.

Bearer must be Thranduil.
Each time Thranduil is assigned to skirmish a wounded minion, you may draw a card.
Skirmish: If Thranduil is skirmishing, exert him to place an card from hand on top of or beneath your draw deck.
In the spring, he wore a crown of woodland flowers.

Dim Blowing of Horns
Event • Assignment
Spot 3 Elves to wound a minion. All opponents must skip their next assignment action.
Out of the gloom came suddenly the shape of a flying deer.

Condition • Support Area
Locked: Each time a possession or artifact is played on an Elf and you cannot spot a Dwarf, you may remove a threat or heal that Elf.

High-Elf
Condition
Bearer must be an Elf.
Limit 1 per bearer.
When played, discard Wood-Elf if borne by bearer.
Each time a minion skirmishing bearer is healed, you may heal a companion or Unlock an card until the end of the turn.
There the Light-elves... the Deep-elves and the Sea-elves went and lived for ages, and grew fairer and wiser.
H2 U 44
Hunting Dogs
Possession • Dog
Bearer must be an Elf.
Response: If bearer wins a skirmish, discard this possession to wound a minion assigned to an unbound Elf.

Mirkwood Archer

Bearer must be Thranduil.
Each time Thranduil is assigned to skirmish a minion, you may exert him to exhaust that minion.
Skirmish: Make an exhausted minion strength -1 for each wound on that minion. Discard this artifact.
In his hand he held a carven staff of oak.

• Raft-Elves

Res: 5
To play, spot 2 Elf companions.
Each time an possession is discarded from play, you may choose a Shadow player who must exert a minion.
Then ropes were cast and oars were pulled and soon the raft was drawn out of the current of the Forest River...
H2 R 50
• Twinkle of Light
Condition • Support Area
Each time an Elf overwhelms a minion, you may place an event from your discard pile on top of your draw deck.
They all looked, and a longish way off, it seemed, they saw a red twinkle in the dark, then another and another sprang out beside it.
H2 U 51
Without Leave
Event • Skirmish
Spot a minion skirmishing an Elf to draw a card for each wound on that minion.
’Do you forget that you were in my kingdom using the road that my people made?’

Wood-Elf
Condition
Bearer must be an Elf.
Limit 1 per bearer.
When played, discard High-Elf if borne by bearer.
Each time a minion skirmishing bearer is healed, you may make that minion strength -1.
They differed from the High Elves of the West, and were more dangerous and less wise.

I agree with SoP: make it just one possession. I would keep his cost at , but would recommend making him spot an Elf to play and get the reduction if you can spot a Man.

Quality Though i am amused at the thought of the implications of the gameplay. Instead of making them an archer and shooting arrows, you discard the bow to exert a minion. I have a vision of elves running upto a load of orcs and throwing their longbows in their faces Ha! Take that!/b]

Again, good with your other stuff. The ability to play artifacts back would see a decent amount of play with current rings and Aiglos.
To make it a whole ton better and more usable, maybe make it fellowship or regroup?
