Wouldn’t mind seeing some Shadow uses of resources.
If not, then probably or .

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

I’m ALWAYS interested in , but would be neat too. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

All right. Everyone remember the dwarven theme? Throw up a bunch of resources, but not use them as efficiently as possible. Thus, we begin with...
•Gimli, Lover of Mithril
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 5
Damage +1.
Each time the fellowship moves from an underground site, you may add a threat to add a resource.
Delver of Khazad-Dum
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
To play, add a threat.
When you play this companion at an underground site, you may add a resource.
Dwarven Smith
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Fellowship: Exert Dwarven Smith and remove a resource to play a hand weapon on him from your draw deck.
•Durin III, Dwarven King
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
Durin III is twilight cost -1 for each resource you can spot.
Regroup: Play a artifact on Durin III and add to add a resource.
•Gloin, Father of Gimli
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
Skirmish: Remove a resource to make Gloin strength +2 and damage +1.
Regroup: Remove a resource to make the shadow player choose one: Remove a shadow resource, discard a shadow card, remove , or remove 2 threats.
That’s the idea of the culture. Easy resources, spendthrift ways. |

What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?

first needs lore. secondly, with cards like these, dwarves will need to use resources VERY inefficiently...judgment awaits further cards
Delver of Khazad-Dum
Companion • Dwarf

Damage +1.

okkk cut the damage I would say
Dwarven Smith
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Fellowship: Exert Dwarven Smith and remove a resource to play a hand weapon from your draw deck.
meh...so far not broken, though semi-broken with a few dwarven heart. you could easily cycle through 4-8 cards with endurance of dwarves and the vitality ring combined with dwarven heart, setting up to quick for comfort. change the ability to manuever and it is fine though. oh and make him unique
•Durin III, Dwarven King
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.

Fellowship: Play a artifact on Durin III to add a resource.
works. his basically free cost is balanced by the fact that the other durin kicks his little butte in possibilities.
•Gloin, Father of Gimli
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
Skirmish: Remove a resource to make Gloin strength +2 and damage +1.
Regroup: Remove a resource to choose one: Remove a shadow resource, a resource, make the shadow player discard a shadow card, or remove .
the skirmish ability needs a limit. and the second ability is just plain BROKEN. you can EASILY for next to nothing take out their entire support area, the twilight pool, AND all their hard-earned resources. cut it entirely. |
