No other trading card game even comes close to beating (or even matching) LOTR cards. |

LotR cards are pictures, made with actors. It’s got a whole other ffeling to them, which is quite cool and different. However, I’m sorry to differ, but artwork beats photographs hands down any day. Of course, there’s poor artwork, like Pokémon and Yu-gi-Oh!, but some great ones, like Warlord, Legend of the Five Rings, and MtG (outside of Lorwyn, that is...). However, the toughness sphere and card borders are NEAT in LotR, it’s thebest hands down. But then, flavor text sucks a lot of times...
So, are we gonna have reports or what? I’m a tournament addict, can’t resist play-by-play reports. |

Photos are cooler. And I like the Lorwyn artwork. It looks like CGIs. (CGIs = AWESOMNESS).
But the gameplay and feel of playing the game is what sets LotR apart. You have a tone of magic-ish games, and then LotR comes and does a completely different feel to it.
IMO, they’re so different that there’s no way to compare them except an opinion of which is better.
Wow. This thread has gone through a lot of stages.... |
