Third one is solid, but the middle first two seem a bit useless to me. Take out the adding clause, or make it so that becomes an immediate Whirling Strike, and make the second one apply to all skirmishes like the first and they’re much better.

Alrighty then...I think it’s safe to move on.
Here’s a couple more minions that deal with a different theme. Again, I bet you can figure it out pretty quickly. You guys are so smart! Enjoy!
Desert Brigand
Minion • Man
Strength: 5
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
Southron. Hunter 2.
At the start of each skirmish involving this minion, you may exert him to discard a possession borne by a character he is skirmishing.
“‘We have not seen Men like these before....’”
Desert Marauder
Minion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
Southron. Hunter 1.
This minion is strength +1 for each possession borne by each character in his skirmish.
“He could hear plainly the ringing grate of steel on steel, the clang of sword on iron cap, the dull beat of blade on shield; men were yelling and screaming....” |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Make him vitality 2 and he’s rock. 3 and he’s too good.

Not good enough. Make him strength 8 at least or increase his vitality, and/or make the bonus +2, or +1 for each possession borne by characters in his skirmish.

Yeah, I had 2 at first and thought that might be viewed as a tad weak. Changed it back.

Oooo, I really like that last suggestion. Done.
Keep in mind, though, that Men will have several possessions to play with in this (and the next) set. They won’t be limited to just mounts and weapons anymore. |

Doesn’t actually matter, because Shadow possessions borne by minions are simply not as good or as useful as those borne by companions. For the FP player, a possession is an important bonus to any companion. To the Shadow player, 1 more possession is 1 less minion.

Agreed, which is why I was still happy to change it. |

Wow excessively hard. 7 strength in all likelihood and robs a possession for 2? Seems too hard if you ask me DI. He’d have to be rare and then every1 would want it im sure.

When I do rarities (one of the things I always think to do only last), I’ll make sure to make Desert Brigand rare.
Yesterday was about minions that like or hate possessions. Today are some possessions for them (and other minions, of course) to play with. Enjoy!
Red-Tipped Spear
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be a Southron.
When you play this possession, you may spot X threats and remove [X] to make bearer strength +X (limit +3) until the regroup phase.
“‘...and their flags are red, and the tips of their spears....’”
Haradrim Bow
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be a Southron.
Bearer is an archer and gains hunter 1.
Archery: If bearer is mounted or you can spot 3 threats, discard this possession to make the minion archery total +2.
Unlike weapons of many western cultures, the bows made in the desert land of Harad were usually constructed of bone, horn, and metal rather than wood.
Southron Shield
Possession • Shield
Bearer must be a Man.
The fellowship archery total is -1.
Skirmish: Remove a threat and discard this possession to discard a possession borne by a character skirmishing bearer. If that character does not bear a possession, exert him or her instead.
“‘...and they have round shields, yellow and black with big spikes.’” |

Sound. But needs a phase or something that defines when you use and how long the text lasts. Would be cool if you said when you play it, then make it last til the regroup phase, if its a skirmish action theres no poinjt spotting X as you could spot 1 and do it multiple times to get upto 3.

You dont need til the regroup phase. Sweet card.
