Yesterday was about minions that like or hate possessions. Today are some possessions for them (and other Raider minions, of course) to play with. Enjoy!

1 Red-Tipped Spear Raider
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be a Southron.
When you play this possession, you may spot X threats and remove [X] to make bearer strength +X (limit +3) until the regroup phase.
“‘...and their flags are red, and the tips of their spears....’”

I like!

2 Haradhrim Bow Raider
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be a Southron.
Bearer is an archer and gains hunter 1.
Archery: If bearer is mounted, discard this possession to make the minion archery total +2 until the regroup phase.
Unlike weapons of many western cultures, the bows made in the desert land of Harad were usually constructed of bone, horn, and metal rather than wood.

Like Lem0n said, the "until the regroup phase" isn’t needed. It doesn’t matter once the archery phase is over, so....

2 Southron Shield Raider
Possession • Shield
Bearer must be a Raider Man.
The fellowship archery total is -1.
Skirmish: Remove a threat and discard this possession to discard a possession borne by a character skirmishing bearer. If that character does not bear a possession, exert him or her instead.
“‘...and they have round shields, yellow and black with big spikes.’”
Nice!

I wike it. maybe make it unique, or that archery ability could kill if you get a couple out.

I’m not a big fan of putting limits on cards (I might, for example, make it simply remove 3 or 3 threats to make them strength +3), but it’s fine.

I don’t get the mounted thing. Maybe it should spot 3 threats - I like that better.

Make it cost 1 or give it a strength/vitality bonus, but I like it.

Thanks for the reviews (and spelling corrections Embarassed) all. Hard to believe it’s been almost a month since I updated this thread. Just got sidetracked with so many other things here and in "real life"...anyway, on with the show. Finally. Rolling Eyes

I’m having trouble designing several cards in a row on the same "theme" for this culture, so new cards might seem a bit jumbled as we move along. But at least THESE two share a common theme. Enjoy!

I think you can drop the cost to 3, but then again, I haven’t seen your Raider cards that add threats, so... I guess it’s fine as is. Razz

Take out the limit! If they want to remove 9 threats to cause 9 wounds, I say let them! Razz Alternatively, make it non-unique an each one simply removes 2 threats to make the archery total +2 so that you can get a maximum of 8. Like I’ve said before: I don’t like limits, and this card will be a LOT more fun to play with without them.

I think I’d prefer losing ambush X and then maybe increase the cost. Oh, and I still don’t like limits, though I can see the necessity with cards out there like Raider Bow!
