1 - It doesn’t matter, all games borrow rules from it anyway, this should probably apply.
2 - It doens’t matter, as well. Rules are rules and are there to be followed, otherwise, the guy who asked about the elf brothers and legolas could play his way since "it’s not a tournament", and you still said he was wrong (which he WAS, of course). |

Casual you can do whatever you want. I’ve seen a guy start 2 copies of Gamling in casual, and then I’ve seen someone simultaneously start Hrethel and Eomer, TMoR. Both are technically wrong, but in casual you can bend the rules a little.
Such as using the Ring of Doom as a response action to cope with archery. |

Nothing wrong with bending the rules in casual.
As long as both players agree and intend to bend the rules...
Errors when both players intend to follow the rules are annoying and cheap, but with shared blame. |
