I like the concept as well, with a Lord making all other Lords (regardless of culture) better.
But in Elendil’s case, it’s too much. Mass archers is never a good thing, because it quickly becomes overpowered. I’d do something else with him, like perhaps resistance boosts or strength boosts or damage. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I think it should be
Lord-Archer [i]at the start of each of your turns, you may choose a lord from a different culture. That Lord gains archer until the end of your turn.
that prevent mass archery. you could also make lords cost 1 more then their nonlord versions. |

Interesting idea. Prevents the mass keywords.
I’m still considering what to do here... |

I still think it should apply only to non-lords - otherwise it’s like an exclusive upper class aristocracy instead of great leaders of hosts.

This seems to kick up a lot of steam here. Let’s call a vote:
1. Lord applies to all non-lord same culture.
2. applies to any 1 companion of same culture.
3. applies to all lords different culture.
4. applies to any lord.
I will vote #2. really liked SoP’s suggestion. |

I quite like #2, but it might be overly complicated. #1 has the advantage of being simpler, but needs to be guarded closely lest it become overpowered both in the number of lords of each culture and the abilities they confer.

No one’s voting? I’m being too democratic here. I’LL JUST CHOOSE IT MYSELF!!!
There. We’re going for #2, which I like the best. Please no one argue about what is the better game dynamics concerning this loaded keyword.
Soon I’ll get some more DC’s up. |
