Spot a Hobbit and add a threat to discard a shadow possession or make that hobbit strength +3. If you can spot a Dwarf or Gandalf, you may draw a card.
He wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick.

Make sure to capitalize "Hobbit". Perhaps change "Gandalf" to simply "Gandalf Wizard", as I see no reason this particular card shouldn’t benefit from Radagast, too.

At the end of each of your turns, add a threat or discard this condition.
Skirmish: Exert a Hobbit not assigned to skirmish twice to cancel a skirmish involving another Hobbit.
Suddenly in the wood beyond The Water a flame leapt up, and he thought of plundering dragons settling on his quiet Hill and kindling it all to flames. He shuddered; and very quickly he was plain Mr. Baggins of Bag-End, Under-Hill, again.

No problems here.

While you can spot 3 Dwarves (or Gandalf), Bilbo cannot be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled.
Skirmish: Exert Bilbo twice to discard a possession borne by a minion he is skirmishing.
"Tell me what you want done, and I will try it, if I have to walk from here to the East of East and fight the wild Were-worms in the Last Desert."

I think it would be much better balanced if his resistance was 8, like other Bilbos. Here, I think it’s good to specify Gandalf instead of any ol’ Wizard.

Solid card! Perhaps it should be both a Dwarf and Gandalf?

There’s a crucial ’a’ missing between ’to’ and ’skirmish’. Other than that, seems good.

Interestingly similar to my Bilbo ring-bearers, one of which cannot be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled if you can spot Gandalf, and the other which can discard possessions borne by minions! Again, I think it should possibly be 3 Dwarves AND Gandalf, but nice card!

2 Intimidate Gandalf (reprint)
Event * Response
If a companion is about to take a wound, spot Gandalf to prevent that wound.
He turned and frowned at him and stuck out his bushy eyebrows, till Bilbo shut his mouth tight with a snap.

You don’t get many reprints in my sets, but I thought that the lore deserved it.

2 *Not The Last Time! Shire
Condition * Support Area
Each time you cancel a skirmish involving a Hobbit, you may reinforce a Shire token.
Response: If a Hobbit is about to take any number of wounds in a skirmish, if the fellowship is in regions 1 or 2, discard this condition to prevent all wounds to that Hobbit until the regroup phase.
"Bother burgling and everything to do with it! I wish I was at home in my nice hole by the fire, with the kettle just beginning to sing!" It was not the last time that he wished that!

2 *Three Large Persons Orc
Condition * Support Area
Tom, Bert, and William are twilight cost -2.
Shadow: Discard this condition to take an Orc Troll from your discard pile into hand.
Three very large persons sitting round a very large fire of beech-logs. They were toasting mutton on long spits of wood, and licking the gravy off their fingers.

Next time - the three trolls.

Always interesting to see what a DC designer does with these three, and I must say, I like these a lot. They’re actually very similiar to the ones I designed for Lasting Alliances...one is your damage specialist, one your fierce guy, and the other a little of each. I like their complimentary abilities and how they get bigger when you can spot all three. Well done!

Perhaps require spotting an Orc Troll to play this. Otherwise, I see it being splashed into many other decks that have nothing to do with Trolls.

I think it should technically be "cannot be assigned to a skirmish", but Ilike it. Maybe up the cost a little though, since an exertion is usually no big deal for a Troll. Or perhaps even better, allow that companion to exert (perhaps twice) to prevent, which would still fit in with your direct exertion mini-strategy.
