Hey, guys.
It’s late, I’m tired, and stuffed sick on turkey, so my judgment’s impaired, otherwise I probably wouldn’t even bring this up.
I’ve been sorta stressed lately over a bunch of "unimportant and frivolous" things like school, debate league, and getting a(nother) job.
I’ve found a vent. Mocking people I know by making parodiacal DCs of them.
Just wondering if anyone wants a good, cynical laugh, of if I’d just be pointlessly spamming the forum if I posted them here.
Theoretically, they would be actually reasonably balanced and playable, though one or two would be intentionally broken or useless. (For example, I’d make NBarden insanely broken to keep him happy....  )
Four or five cultures, all theoretically playable, small set, extended as I get ideas. All the names of people, places, events, institutions, etc changed to protect the innocent and the not-so-innocent.
Example:
 *Mad Meredith, The Happy One [Ceres]
Companion – Coworker
Strength 7
Vitality 5
Resistance 12
Muster.
At the start of the maneuver phase, you may exert Mad Mer and add a burden to draw a card.
Response: If a shadow card is about to add any number of burdens, you may exert Mad Mer and discard a [Ceres] event from hand instead.
“‘Whee! Isn’t this exciting, guys?’” AQ
("AQ" means that the lore is an actual quote from/about the person/incident/whatever portrayed by the card.) |

Heh heh.
I like the Happy Deck one. I might just add that to the set....
We have a bunch of realtives over, so my computer access has been reduced significantly, since my computer is inaccessible (in my room which is currently a guest bedroom) and I have to use the shared computer along with a dozen other people, so it will be awhile before I can actually start this or get back to Children of Hurin.
And, of course, I’ll have a  culture. |
