Aid - Lock a minion until the end of the regroup phase.
To play, spot a or card.
Bearer gains fierce and terror 1.

Up the aid cost is all id say.

Interesting how he’s a seperate entity than Sauron, but there’s nothing particularly wrong with that, I guess. I like him in nearly all decks. Good stuff!

I’d require it to lock a or minion, more specifically. Then you can probably even drop the spotting requirement and save yourself a bit of text. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

totally forgot about that. in that case, even multiple -2’s would be too good IMHO...though maybe it would still work as any archery or wounding deck could tear the strategy to pieces. |

Excellent, cards changed.
Now onto some standard Wraiths, with two themes stated at different levels:
Wraith of Dol Guldur
Minion • Wraith
Str: 7
Vit: 3
Sit: 6
Enduring.
To assign this minion to a skirmish, the Free Peoples player must exert it or add a burden.
H3 C 187
Shadow of Dol Guldur
Minion • Wraith
Str: 9
Vit: 3
Sit: 6
Enduring.
To assign this minion to a skirmish, the Free Peoples player must exert it or add a burden.
H3 C 164
And I’m going to throw in another card:
Power of the Necromancer
Event • Shadow
Spell. Toil 2.
Spot 3 minions (or a minion that is not roaming) to discard a condition or non-unique artifact.
’Don’t be absurd! He is an enemy far beyond the powers of all the dwarves put together...’

While you can spot a Nazgul (or Maia minion), this minion cannot be healed by Free Peoples cards.

now thats interesting, what card heal minions? some of your telepathic elves? and what the tech is a castellan?

While the Ring-bearer wears The One Ring, this minion cannot be healed by Free Peoples cards.

Apart from anything, the Elves of Mirkwood love doing it, so much so that it basically makes up their entire strategy. White Council do it as well, which I think is more of the reason for this ability. Basically, it’s just away to keep your wounds.

If you don’t mind, I’m going to ignore you on that one! There are so many common and non-unique artifacts in this set, that you’ve got to be able to discard them a little. This is one of about 3 cards that can do it in this set.
And you missed two of the cards. Presumably that was because there were no issues?

brilliant deduction. there was no reason to review them, or for that matter most of those DC"s.
re: artifacts. then make it a non-unique artifact. think about a nazgul discarding anduril or galadriels ewer....NOOOOO. nonunique I can live with. |

I can live with it!
Oh, and a castellan is (according to the Oxford English Dictionary):
An adjective describing a heavily fortified place
The governor of a castle, which is more or less what it means in this case (more like a guardian).

I think the ()s are unnecessary. I will take your word for it that Mirkwood Elves and White Council guys heal...I think I vaguely remember that.

Sorry, but I have to side with SoP here. You can’t think of DCs only within the bounds of your sets. This would be like a tsunami if it hit existing LOTR TCG cards and strategies. I understand wanting to counter all the artifacts you’ve added, but this is too easy. Limit it to non-unique artifacts, and then I’m okay with it. |

Ok easiest review ever:
