Fortification.
The twilight cost of each other fortification is -1.
Each time another fortification is about to be discarded, you may exert a Man to take that fortification into hand instead.
“There upon its spur stood high walls of ancient stone, and within them was a lofty tower. Men said that in the far-off days of the glory of Gondor the sea-kings had built here this fastness with the hands of giants.”
Excellent!

Regroup: Discard this condition to play another fortification from your discard pile.

I’d add a spotting requirement. |
I had to put something here. |

You don’t need ’another’ - you can never play a condition if you’ve just discarded it as part of the cost.
An interestingly different approach to fortifications from . Could you have some kind of cross-over? Maybe in an Aragorn being culture and fighting for Rohan?

Well if you remember, I DO have a Aragorn...kind of.
•Aragorn, Man of the West
Companion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Signet: Théoden
Valiant. Hunter 1. While Aragorn bears no artifacts, he is also a Man.
Aragorn is strength +1 for each of the following you can spot: Man, Elf, Dwarf.
“‘They fight beside you because they would not be parted from you.’”
Not quite sure what you’re getting at, though. Could you rephrase, perhaps? |

I was just thinking out loud about some cards linking and fortifications and thought that Aragorn might be a good vessel for this being Gondor but fighting in Rohan.

Well, as a rare valiant Man, and as an ever rarer / Man, I think he already helps somewhat with that.
But I’ll consider some stronger ties. Might have to revisit the culture briefly, but I’ll see if I can come up with something. There’s already a little, since not all cards that refer to fortifications specify they must be ones. But I’ll see if I can make it more...apparent. |

I wasn’t necessarily making any concrete suggestions - like I said, I was just thinking out loud!

But it’s a good outloud thought/suggestion.

...a task in and of itself. The trick is to find the gears.
That Aragorn looks great! I really like the ability for him to carry his stuff (except Andúril) and still be helpful to the Rohirrim. Great in a Three Hunters deck, too. |
I had to put something here. |

I would make it shuffle it into your draw deck, but this works.

Hmmm not that useful but certainly sound. Could even cost 0 perhaps. |
