Virulent slivers on the loose!
--- end description ---

Lands:

Karplusan Forest x 4
Vivd Crag x 2
Vivid Grove x 2
Mountain x 7
Forest x 7

Creatures:

Virulent Sliver x 4
Two Headed Sliver x 4
Firewake Sliver x 4
Gemhide Sliver x 4
Spined Sliver x 4
Fury Sliver x 4
Might Sliver x 4
Battering Sliver x 2

Instants:

Lash Out x 4

Enchantments:

Wild Pair x 4

The point is to combo Virulent Sliver/Two-Headed Sliver to clog up creatures, meaning you start hitting your opponent directly. Gemhide Sliver should help for expensive creatures, like Fury Sliver and Battering Sliver (trample = poison, double strike = double poison). Might Sliver = Slivers stay alive.

The 2HG version of this deck pwned on the pro tour. Course, you can’t play 2HG on MWS, but I liked the deck. They used Bonesplitter Sliver over Might Sliver, which is best for this deck? An extra mana for 2 extra toughness for all your slivers sounds tempting...

You’re missing out on something big. First, Summoner’s Pact. Then, Wild Pair. Both help out A LOT when it comes to swaeming quickly with poisonous slivers. And last, but most certainly not least, you forget the almighty changelings! Where’s Firebelly Changeling? Woodland Changeling?

Summoner’s Pact seems...expensive. Confused

I like Wild Pair. But I don’t like the Changeling dudes. Deckspace better spent with Slivers that do stuff.

Tested this deck against itself. Turn 6, 1 side had 7 poison counters, the other swung for 46 damage. Double-Strike = AWESOME!

Second time, 3 Virulent Slivers swung for 9 poison at turn 5, and one had swung earlier. w00t!

Third time, turn 6, swung for 12 and 16 poison counters (Virulent Sliver x 2 + Double Strike!)

I’m loving this deck.

But remember, not everyone will be playing slivers as well. Actually, no one is going to be playing them at all, most likely. Except maybe Plague Sliver.

I know that, and to test, I actually ignored the slivers on the other side of the board. Still hit hard and fast. I love this deck.
