The point is to get a ton of possessions on him, akin to a Killer Boromir deck, but not quite. Killer Boromir has one major weakness, stopping power. Boromir can replace your hobbits in fighting and stop everything, whether with huge damage from Strength In My Blood or his discarding text. Burdens fly off, minions die, Radagast hits and we start running.
Reinforce Heirs of Gondor TO DA MAX! and peel them as necessary to clobber. Boromir’s defender bonus means you can fight enough minions to stop them from hitting the RB, but with an IB, who cares? Home and Hearth peels the burdens next turn! Under 6 comps means no Enquea or Greed, so you’re good to go!
Pair it with Moria. The fix-all for any large deck. |
