Each time Aragorn wins a skirmish, you may wound a minion not assigned to a skirmish. (Or discard a minion not assigned to a skirmish if he is a Lord)
Each time Imrahil wins a skirmish, you may play a fortification from your discard pile. (Or play a artifact from your discard pile if he is a Lord)
Each time Eomer wins a skirmish you may heal a man (Or a man if he is a Lord.)
I upped cost to 3, and I need new lore.
is it broken?
Not broken, just in need of a few grammer tweaks. Rather than go through them all, I’ll just repost it with suggested changes.

That actually saves you a little text, too!
As for lore, I already posted the full quote you were talking about up above, but I would specifically recommend this:
“...such was their fortune and the skill and might of their arms, and few indeed had dared to abide them or look on their faces in the hour of their wrath.”
If you’re worried about space, I suppose you could drop everything before "few indeed". *shrug* |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I think Aragorn’s line is rather OP. Exerting and wounding would be perfectly fine. But the others are good.

I was just thinking about Eomer’s line. You’re never going to use this card in a deck because 2/3 of the mentioned characters are . Maybe it should heal him if he’s not a lord and heal a Man if he is? Or heal a Man if he isn’t and a Man or unbound companion if he is?

i would argue that you might. Too my knowledge Rohan doesn’t have that much in healing, and then you can use it to heal him if you splash him into a gondor (which he will be good at, sometime you won’t be able to even tell him apart.) he will also get two versions. one centered around pelennor, the other around 4th age. I should make one of imrahil’s daughter...
Lothiriel

Aid-
Resistance +2
To play, spot a man. Each time Lothiriel is transferred to a companion, you may heal that companion.
OK serious case of DC block, I know she is a really bad DC, don’t kill me . |

goodness, its almost like I only need thran to review!
and maybe dain to correct my atrocious grammar and wording.
back to the last alliance, and the other in my two cycles of three.
•Isildur, Lord of Gondor
Companion • Man
Strength • 7
Vitality • 3
Resistance • 6
Lord-Maneuver: Exert this companion to heal a man.
At the start of each skirmish involving Isildur, you may add a threat and spot Elendil and Anarion to make Isildur strength +X, where X is his vitality, until the end of that skirmish.
as usual I need lore, and wording fixes, and a broken check. |

That’s what I’m here for, buddy! Though since it looks like Thran hasn’t gotten to this yet, I get to do everything this time!

Lord-Maneuver:Exert this character to make a man vitality +1 until the regroup phase
At the start of each skirmish involving Isildur, you may add a threat spot Elendil and Anarion to make him strength +X, where X is his vitality, until the end of that skirmish.
Question: can Lord stuff be given to allies? If so, it probably shouldn’t be allowed...and then you could change this from "exert this character" to the better-sounding "exert this companion". Minor thing, though. I think adding vitality so easily might be a bit much...perhaps simply healing instead? Although perhaps you intended this to make Anarion beastly...hmmm. Might be okay. Wait for another review or two.
Now, the grammer stuff. Not sure if you meant to bold the entire first line, but whether you did or not, it needs a period at the end. You missed an important "and" between "threat" and "spot". Just for clarity, the "him" should probably be "Isildur", lest one get confused if "him" refers to Isildur or Elendil or Anarion. The rest looks good...though the formatting of your stats (strength, vitality, resistance) with the extra dots is a pet peeve of mine. *shrug* To each their own, though. |
