Now I’m embarrassed!
SoP, you were right about my own mechanic - it triggers when assigned!
For reference:
Stalwart - ability (When this character is assigned to a character of greater strength, you may use this ability)

No way you should be able to drop a permanent -2 resistance on the Ring-bearer for NO twilight whatsoever. Heck, as is, I’d throw this into ANY deck just for that purpose. You need to either exclude the Ring-bearer entirely or nerf that resistance when they do bear it. Just WAY too powerful in that regard otherwise.
Fair enough. I don’t like that limitation for flavour reasons, and also it’s perfectly fine for a Free Peoples card, but I can see that gamewise the exception clause needs to be there, unless you have a better way.
Not that I can think of, sadly. I’ll let you know if I come up with something, though.

Each time a character wins a skirmish, you may add a token here.
At the start of each skirmish involving a minion, you may remove a token from here to make that minion gain " Stalwart - exert a companion skirmishing this minion."
Couldn’t you just do Stalwart - Terror 1 and save yourself some text?

To play, spot a character.
Bearer must be a companion (except the Ring-bearer). This condition’s twilight cost is -1 for each artifact borne by this companion (or -3 if he or she bears a ring).
Bearer’s resistance is reduced to 0 and cannot be increased.
I agree with SoP. Let the FP at least TRY to fight it. This is instant death to Isildur, Heir of Elendil, but I guess there’s really not much you can do about that. I would also exert a character to play it rather than merely spot.

Considering that many minions have a site number of 6 (and thus only two would be required), I’d increase it to combined of 13. |

Terror is undirected. This, as NB pointed out, is essentially a card for grind.
Changed the cards according to your suggestions.

Wow this means any strong companions get exerted if someone lost last time. Think it should cost 3 cos its really hard.

Dont you think this card would make resistance targeting decks insanely powerful? Id have to see how you plan to use resistance, but if its really punishing then i think this card is sick. I already think its OP.

Resistance targetting decks in my experience are not great. I feel like the fact that it requires the culture only, which should be best at it, and that Sauron literally had ultimate control over his subjects, makes it just about alright. It’s supposed to be powerful though.
Now an event to once again parallel some of the cards about to be posted, and also a grizzly banner!

Maneuver: Remove [X] to transfer this artifact to a minion with a twilight cost of X.

Regroup: Remove to transfer this artifact from a minion to your support area.
That banner is, by the way, referencing what Sauron did to Celebrimbor when he captured him, which was put his flayed skin on his banner.

I think the wording it a little off. Borrowing some of the wording from Birthday Present:
Spot a character to choose 2 or events from your discard pile. Make the Free Peoples player choose one of those events for you to take into hand, then place the other beneath your draw deck.
I’d also give this SOME cost. Removing a threat/burden, some twilight...something.

First off...ew. Thank goodness these are not physical, graphical cards. Ahem, with that out of the way....
Hmmm. I think giving some of those keywords to certain other minions is dangerous at best, and very exploitably (is that a word?) broken at worst. I’d limit the cultures of minions that can benefit from this, personally, and/or limit the strength or cost or vitality of the minions that can bear it in the first place. has some downright beastly minions that are almost guaranteed to win skirmishes. |

I’d certainly use this for the threat potential, as could desperately use some help in that area. Not entirely sure about the cost. Part of me screams for it to be , while the other part says is fine. Wait on another review or two. |

Dains’ right on the potential for abuse. I think its costed right it could maybe even cost 0 but as to who you play it on this needs REAL careful control.
