don’t you mean when discarded? wait its an event...maybe discarded still would be the way to go...KILLS I repeat KILLS elven archery. Should be much harder to play and get the effects |

Yes, and you may remember that I was trying to find an alternative title to the other one, but no one decided to help me.

The reason I said ’played’, is because legendary cards go to the dead pile when discarded only from play, so I thought it was a bit weird for said events to go even when discarded from hand by accident.

How about this:
The Will of Morgoth
Event • Maneuver
Legendary - (When played, this card goes to the dead pile).
To play, discard 2 conditions or a artifact.
Each companion loses all gametext keywords until the regroup phase. The Free Peoples player may make each companion strength and resistance -1 until the regroup phase to prevent this.
And while on the subject of keywords, how about this guy:
 • The Mouth of Sauron, Corrupted by the Enemy
Minion • Man
Str: 9
Vit: 3
Sit: 5
Stalwart - make a companion lose all gametext keywords until the regroup phase.
While you can spot 3 , 3 or 3 characters, the Mouth of Sauron’s twilight cost is -2.

| I would want clarifying whether you can spot 1 of each culture 2 of 1 and 1 of another etc... or all the same. Id say -2 as well, free is nasty. |

Well, I’m a little bored. So let’s have a Sauron!

Minion • Maia
Str: 24
Vit: 5
Sit: 6
Enduring 1.
Sauron’s twilight cost is -1 for each of your Shadow conditions and Shadow artifacts you can spot.
Each time a companion bearing a Shadow card loses a skirmish, you may make the Free Peoples player choose to add either a threat or a burden.
Was thinking about lurker as well. Any thought?

| Lurker makes no difference as he probably wont die and hence will still get his gametext usage, and i like the gametext but the twilight reducer is insane. This guarantees free in multiplayer. Big no no. |

Yeah, lurker is a nice touch but doesn’t really gain you much here. The burden/threat thing is a little cloudy: do YOU choose which they have to add, or does the FP player have the choice? I assume it’s the latter, but the wording isn’t entirely clear. Maybe insert a "choose to add either" in there. |

Let’s have a pair of related events:
Cunning of Mind
Event • Shadow
Discard a minion (or spot Sauron) to choose one: take into hand a Shadow artifact from your draw deck or discard pile; or remove a threat to place a legendary card from your dead pile into your discard pile.
Cunning of Mouth
Event • Regroup
Discard a minion (or spot Sauron) to discard a card borne by a companion. Then, if that companion bears a condition, add a burden.
