| Hey, I just took up MTG and I got Void Maw. I would love to see a deck made around that card! (Don’t flame me if there is a popular deck built around it already, or something totally wrong with my idea, I’m new...) |

A good selection. Here’s my try...
Void Maw
Fists of Ironwood
Nantuko Husk
Call of the Herd
Scatter the Seeds
Carven Caryatid
Fertile Imagination
Selesnya guildmage
Verdant Embrace
Fallen Ideal
4 of each except 2 fertile imagination
4 Overgrown Tomb
9 Swamp
9 Forest
Ideas: Stall behind caryatid/tokens. Then mass tokens. Sac tokens to husk to swing with beef every turn, then with void maw for a second time, making each token provide +4/4 in death.
That’s the best I got off the top of my head. |

Whoa, cool. Somebody posted here. Talk about necroing a thread. Still, I’ll get on it.
4 Sisters of Stone Death
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Golgari Signet
4 Selesnya Guildmage
4 Fists of Ironwood
4 Gaea’s Anthem
4 Magus of the Library
4 Carven Caryatid
4 Zombify
10 Forest
2 Swamp
4 Golgari Rot Farm
4 Overgrown Tomb
Idea is to run one of two courses-
1) First turn acceleration/second turn acceleration. Third/fourth turn dump hand, fifth play sisters. Good for rushing her down.
2) Tapped ravdual turn one, turn two land into library. Use bouncelands to keep handsize at 7, also using carven caryatid as necessary. Good for drawing into sisters if you didn’t get one early.
It’s tough to make a deck that combos around sisters because she is a combo in herself. The only things us mere mortals have to do is add mana to make the whole thing click. |

Well, not to dissapoint, but most of the delay has been preparations for a Spoils constructed tourney, which was today. I got second place, 5 points (that’s not as hard as pro points to get- 50 pts. qualifies for the 400,000 cruise), 10 packs, some promos, a beanie, a T-shirt, and a fleece all with spoils logos 
But yeah, now time to get back to MTG. I’ll probably have the deck up tomorrow. |

Rimefeather owl was popular in Mono Blue Snow... but i guess you might be going rogue... anyways, when your done that... retether!
A friend of mine IMed me about the preview card of that day and said "cool, they brought back your favorite card.... but they made it suck". So it’d be pretty cool to see something decent come out of it. |
