Morgoth - The Dark One
Twilight Cost: 23
Strength: 32
Vitality: 7
Resistance: 0
Damage +2. Exert Morgoth once to discard every Free Peoples possession. Exert Morgoth twice to wound any companion three times. |
I had to put something here. |

Wow.
A couple of suggestions...first of all, you should make that "exert to wound" action apply to unbound or non-RB characters, I think. You shouldn’t be able to kill off the RB that easy. Secondly, he should be enduring like Sauron is.
A very big boss! |

Woah. Cool. But, hold on:
1. As a minion, he has site # and not resistance.
2. His "exert to discard/wound" actions need a phase. |

A very big boss!
But an exerting ability and enduring is a no-no.
Exert him 6 times to kill 1-2 companions and then be strength +12...doesnt make much sense.
How about, have him less strength, but be str+1 for each threat. And a skirmish ability along the lines of removing threats to wound companions? |

I never thought of that...good point!
I like that idea for the alternate mechanic, though...to distinguish him from the lesser Dark Lord Sauron... |

it is completely sickening to think of what would happen if morgoth would be made.
he would destroy all.
but i like the cards. |

Then obviously it would be cool if Decipher threw in some possessions and events/conditions.
(5) Grond - Hammer of the Underworld
Possession - Hand Weapon
Strength +4
Bearer must be Morgoth.
Morgoth is damage+1, fierce, and strength +3 while he is skirmishing a Man or Wizard. |

Morgoth is damage+1, fierce, and strength +3 while he is skirmishing a Man or Wizard. There would be no point of making a possession with any strength bonus for a minion that already has the strength of Morgoth. Give it a good special ability, along the same lines of the "Grond" engine card. |
