It would be great if Decipher came out with such a large collection of Balrogs and trolls that they had to have their own cultures. Let’s suppose.....
(16) Gothmog - Lord of All Balrogs
Culture: Balrog
Minion: Balrog
Strength: 26
Vitality: 6
Site Number: 4
Damage +2. Fierce.
While Gothmog is skirmishing an Elf, he is strength +2.
(12) Hideous Troll - Gothmog’s Bodyguard
Culture: Troll
Minion: Troll
Strength: 16
Vitality: 5
Site Number: 4
Damage +1.
Maneuver: Exert Hideous Troll twice to discard every Free Peoples possession that is borne by a Man.
(11) Rampaging Troll - Slave of Morgoth
Culture: Troll
Minion: Troll
Strength: 16
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Damage +1.
Regroup: Exert Rampaging Troll once to exert any companion (except the Ring-bearer.)
(14) Sinister Balrog - Foul Creature
Culture: Balrog
Minion: Balrog
Strength: 22
Vitality: 5
Site Number: 4
Damage +1. Enduring.
While Sinister Balrog is skirmishing an Elf, that Elf loses all strength bonuses from weapons.
(3) Deadly Club
Possession - Hand Weapon
Culture: Troll
Bearer must be a Troll.
Strength +3.
While bearer is in a fierce skirmish, he is strength +2.
(3) Balrog Sword
Possession - Hand Weapon
Culture: Balrog
Bearer must be a Balrog.
Strength +3. If bearer is Gothmog, he is strength +2. |

Very interesting, AP, but it seems to me that if Gothmog has the sword, he should be more strength added than if anyone else has it. Also, isn’t Gothmog the name of someone else in LOTR??? |

Yes, in the LOTR movies, Gothmog is the name of the Orc who commands Sauron’s armies. By the book, however, the Witch-king is the leader of Sauron’s armies. Referring once again to my LOTR encylopedia, Gothmog was the name of the most powerful Balrog, and possibly the name of the second highest Nazgul. I have heard, however, that the name name of the second highest Nazgul is Khamul, so that makes the only Gothmog the lord of the Balrogs. Also, the Balrog Sword makes any Balrog strength +2, but it gives Gothmog an extra 3 strength. Therefore, it helps Gothmog more than any other Balrog. |

would love for them to make some more balrogs. but if they did they would have to make stronger companions. |
There is a power in this world beyond any of us, and Jesus is that power and The Savior.

Damage +2. Fierce.
While Gothmog is skirmishing an Elf, he is strength +2. You should make him have less strength, he wasn’t as strong as Sauron. He was just ever so slightly less stronger. |
