Now, just a second here...I thought that the RB counted towards the Twilight cost of the SF, since Frodo is always 0. But now I read the Boromir, BoC, and the starting fellowship for that deck seems to count only the non-RB characters towards the twilight cost...

So do only the non-RB characters count towards twilight cost??

Yes. The Ring-bearer’s twilight cost is 0. It makes alternate Ring-bearers very good. Cool

I was wondering where is that rule listed?
I know its right but I can’t find it in the comprehinsive rule book or in the currrent rulings document.
And yes ARBs are the best thing since sliced bread.
They just open up so many oppertunities.
BTW I wrote an article on them, maybe you would like to check it out CarpeGuitarrem. Wink

It doesn’t need to be in the rules that the RB’s twilight cost is 0. First of all, the RB isn’t even played at the start of the game; he starts the game in play, and you don’t pay costs for cards that you don’t play. Second of all, the rules state that after you’ve placed your RB in play, added the burdens and played the first site, then you get 4 twilight for additional companions.

Yes, that makes sense now. Why was Frodo always Twilight cost 0 then?

To reduce confusion, and because you could never play him as a regular cmopanion.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz
