They are cards that transfer to companions and can give
bonus and some, like Pallando, Far-traveling One ,
have great abilities.
And I agree with AC that D will probably not make any more allies.
Followers are here to stay.
definitly, speaking of things D has introduced why haven’t they done much woth tokens in hunters? |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

SoP: Bloodlines was themed around tokens. It was just the theme for the set - it didn’t mean that every set after BL would have lots of token cards.
By the way, the Dwarven culture got a lot of token cards in Hunters. |

Ahh...that makes sense. Now that I look at it, they’re basically allies that don’t have home sites. |

Since allies and basically out of the picture, it is interesting to think if D will get rid of companions and come up with something else. |
I had to put something here. |

AP: Companions are necessary to LOTR, while allies are not. Decipher cannot get rid of companions without majorly changing the game. |

My point exactly. They might try to change it up to get more customers. |

If they change it up too much they will lose the customers that they already have. When they made the site path change in Towers; added Rohan, Dunland, and Raiders and dropped Moria it drove a lot of people off. The game just didn’t have the same feel. I very nearly quit the game then as I really disliked most of the stuff from Towers. When they introduced the new minion cultures, it drove off a lot of people. I think that a change on the order of what is being talked about would kill the game entirely especially since we don’t have the movies in the theaters to get people excited about the game. |

What site path change? I got in on it post-Towers. Do you mean seperate site paths for each block? |

Yep. And the fact that fellowship block allies wouldn’t be able to participate in archery fire or skirmishes unless called up by another card. People got used to having a free step into site 6 when they had out many archer allies. |
