Possession decks are okay - but really they haven't been so good since they lost their infinite combo with Strange-Looking Men. Beat-down with possessions is okay, too, but perhaps less viable. If you want a really good beatdown deck, go Stragglers. But the best is probably pure archery. I'll let someone else post since it isn't really my forte, but some cards to include are: Rapid Reload (DIE, EOWYN, DIE!), Long Battle Bow, Precision Targeting, and Elevated Fire. With archer minions, of course.

Dam, any decklists? I was really hoping possessions would work, cuz then I could trade my Evil Men Archery cards away. How is it that Strange-Looking Men lost their infinite combo? Was there some errata done for Pavise?

How about that guy that makes everyone strength +3 whenever a comp dies. I use that trick. Kill a pair in archery with that guy + Grima, Footman of Saruman out, and here come all your strength +6 archers beating up an exhausted fellowship. I've knocked 9 comp fellowships down to 3 in one turn using that trick. But that's as far as I'd go in mixing them.

Decklists? If you don't want other players to know 'em, just PM them to me, since I don't play SDA and won't kill you with them. Gold for those who donate decklists.

Just run the typical archery build and toss in 4 Ferocious Haradrim. Decks really are better if you build them, as opposed to someone else building them and you running them. Having a deck be your own means you know how every card works and exactly how the deck is supposed to work.

Problem is I never have the time to sift through all my cards and make a deck. I'd really like to, but collegiate work, internship searching and my part-time job demand time. As, unfortunately, does eating and drinking.
