The point is to draw cards, using it to dredge. Then you run the signature flashback Dread Return combo into Flame-Kin Zealot + Zombie tokens.

There's no way in #$&*@! Brainstorm is still Extended legal. Also, this is very similar to the build Dredge had in Standard when it first came out, and I think it might be too slow for Extended. You could consider Simian Spirit Guide as another way to get a 1st-turn Magus, maybe it can increase consistency. I'd maindeck Darkblast due to Extended's meta right now, perhaps losing 1 Zealot (you only need 1 to win) and Golgari Thug.

Dang. I originally built it for legacy, then realized that most of the cards were extended, and so cut to make it work. Forgot 1!

(but I caught the Cephalid Coliseums, go figure)
