I thought there was a tournament planned in France? Is still the case? And if so: Where and when?

Yep, as each year in France, there are 2 French Championships (planned on 2 days), the first in Movie Block (current June) and the second in Standard (current November), so the next one will be in Movie Block.

And there are some tournaments in Paris and Grenoble before these events...

Here there is the way we defined it last year http://frealaf.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=346 (sorry it's in French but you can understand it Wink).

So we define as 1-10 with the 9 + 0P56-60, and of course we have our own X-list Wink.


But this year, you can use the site path from FOTR and TTT : there is so a new format called Pre-Shadow Multipath defined here http://frealaf.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=564.

And we don't like R-list, because it makes the things more complicated.

We defined the Movie Block as the Standard Pre-Shadows Wink.


As long as we have organized tournaments, we decided what format could be played and which cards are banned.

Because if his combo with Courageous Easterling and such... not the most deadly combo but it will kill the unprepared.

The real question is how can you allow Orkish Smith! Goblin Hordes, Forced March!

This list just looks like the French can't handle different strategies. I still don't see any good reasons for these to be banned:

I am wellkinded, but "Demoralized" is a real evil card. If allowing this, it is like allowing Mordor Fiend...
I think I would like to disagree to release it from x-list. Please, keep it banned!

Yeah Demoralised cannot be allowed. Rapid Reload and/or Mountain-troll with Lurkers is HORRIFIC with Demoralised.

And I have to agree with the ban on Lackey if you allow Orkish Smith, which I personally think is barmy! Having Unforgiving Depths back every turn, Goblin Hordes if it gets discarded  Sick

People please back to topic.. The tournament in June is in Movieblock-format. So the issue's you mention don't apply then!

Of topic: It would be better if everybody would use the same rulings... This get's confusing! And yes I'm still against banning stuff. It's better to restrict (which actually is also an errata) or to errata them! But this should be handled by the upcomming Players commitee!
