Well, I currently have placed 100% of the votes on standard!  I would always prefer to play the format that is most supported and uses the most modern cards. This is not a question of power level - even though later sets can sometimes be over the top - I also play only standard Magic. Thranduil |

Its a tough choice between movie and fellowship, but I'm going for movie because it has more deck options, is the most balanced, and has the best pictures |

Casual for me. Any card can be used this way. It allows me to express and fully immerse myself into LOTR without have to follow decktypes.  |

It's the block I started with and cccorniv have the best matches in this format. Fellowship is a close second though.

I don't have much playing experience, but judging from the games I played, movie block games were the most balanced.
I am very interested in Hunters Block, but I am still in process of getting enough cards to build at least two decks to play (because nobody else in my neck of the woods is interested in this block)...

^ I also did. Online, my vote stays, but at home we play expanded. No one has any cards past Shadows really, except for a few BR, so it is still pretty balanced and no really OP combos.
