I need a (potential) designer to help me design a Promo V-slip for the FotR league. A high quality PDF file that can be inserted into a sleeve with the card. Please PM if you are able to help

Ok I thought I would have a raft of people willing to help. I need someone to help with creating a printable slip that can be placed over cards to turn them into promo cards for the League. I dont have the design skills on a computer to make the changes, so if someone can help please let me know.

Hi TheJord - I suggest you contact members Dogbert, Sete, Ranofer. They have all shown an interest in this sort of stuff. Dogbert has already alot of material already setup - probably not half slips though. He may be able to help and has volunteered to offer his support.
Promo cards to support the league would be fantastic, and would generate interest (hopefully), but they only support the collector and those that play using real cards. It would be great to see promo cards produced that are supported by GCCG, Zorbec's, etc.
I would love to tackle the copyright issues and for the proposed PC to be able to produce full image v-cards if at all possible.

I'd help, and with all the template card images I own it would be easy to do any V card ... specially since I own every typeface and symbol used by decipher... There is only a "but"... My MacBook just stopped worked a week ago and I'm still waiting for Apple to fix it... Can take a week, two weeks, a month...

This is why you make backups.

This is why you make backups. Yeah, having 3 or 4 TB of backups is way too much already, I can't backup my Mac every day or week...

Oh, I speak with him once in a while. He is not into "graphical design", he just likes webdesign and was trying a PC website.. Anyway, when Jord tells me what the V-Prize card will be, I'll start working on it!

Hey now, can't speak for me I really liked the graphical design stuff, and I was very gungho about getting us fliers and new cards, but like we've already been over, we can't start using Decipher's stuff til we are cleared to do so.

Hi, Legosmurf here,
As I must have said somewhere else, I worked with the Star Wars PC to make virtual cards. I would be willing to do similar work for this PC. Let's talk.

Hi Legosmurf - the PC appears to be on hold at the moment due to lack of leadership/commitment from the LOTR community. Not sure if everyone agrees with me, but that's my take on it at the moment. If someone comes along that is passionate enough about LOTR and has the skills to take this forward I am sure that they would love your help.

Also virtual cards do not seem to be on anyone's idea of a PC's agenda first thing. What people want more is supporting LotR communities and tournaments.

You're right on that. But we're several weeks later again and I've got the feeling still nothing happening with the pc. For instance who's going to do the talking with Warren Holland and co; TheJord or C1G.com? And what should he negotiate?
