I thought I would get this started early.

I know our website is only partially done. However, it is well and truly on its way. Any one of you know of any free web hosters out there that are EASY and RELIABLE?I just need a place where I can upload the whole chunk of files and it will be available for view.

Remember, the two keywords are EASY and RELIABLE! Wink

Cheers,

I wouldn't recommend going with any free hosts.

Also, remember that you have to pay for the domain name. What did you have in mind?

What can you tell us about free hosts Kralik? I am only a hobbyist on computers and most of this is quite foreign to me.

Without using a free host am i correct in saying that we need a dedicated server (for the website), a high-level internet plan and a domain name? Each of which would cost money.

As for domain name -

There and back again has been suggested for the magazine name - perhaps the PC could adopt some of this into their name.

Anything that incorporates some of:
LOTR
TCG
PC
There and back again
 etc

and also should be .org

Covering the costs may have to come from just one persons pocket - but maybe it is possible to get donations to the PC happening with the few interested members on this site to get it going. I wouldn't mind adding a few bucks using a service such as Paypal to get the PC website going.

Well, I don't have any issues with a free host. It just hosts our site, albeit with a few ads, that's all. Smiley

I've got an email from a potential hoster for us. He will host our website, in exchange we let him have a few ads up. Will keep you guys updated.
