Actually,
Legolas, Woodland Emissary with
Legolas' Bow is pretty nice. Think of cards that reduce the Fellowship archery total, negating Legolas's addition to the archery total. As long as you can spot an elf, you are guaranteed an exertion of a minion. Add that to the archery you get from the bow and that is two potential wounds.
The real fun, however, of
Legolas' Bow is using it to pay for Toil conditions. Exert Legolas for the toil cost to heal him? Can't argue with that.
Granted, in this case, I would probably use
Legolas, Of the Woodland Realm.
Finally,
A Grey Ship has its place. It can be great if you are playing against an archery deck yourself and basically replaces
Might of Numenor in these types of decks. Plus, only running one copy doesn't seem like too big of a deal.
