Dain, AC, and Bib will surely remember this from the old SWCCG boards on Decipher's website. In this game, the leader of the round (me) thinks of a LotR card, and you - the mindless masses - must guess my card using only yes-or-no questions.

Now, there are a few additional rules:

>> You cannot ask "Is it Free Peoples" or "Is it Shadow" (or any question that effectively does the same thing) as either question eliminates too many cards in one go. Questions like "Is it a possession" are fine, however;
>> There is no mind-reading allowed;
>> Repeat questions do not result in a penalty - you should check to see what has already been asked but accidents happen;
>> On that note, it's up to the leader of the round to decide what warrants as a repeat question. If, for instance, the card is narrowed down to a card from the Black Rider set and one person asks "Is the card an Isengard card" (of which there is only 1 in the set), and then someone else asks "Is the card in a culture that has less than 5 cards in the set", that could or could not be a repeat question;
>> If you attempt to guess the card and are wrong, not only does the guess count as 1 of the 20 questions, but you are eliminated from the round;
>> The first person to guess the card correctly becomes the leader of the next round;
>> Under no circumstance is there to be giggling of any kind

All right. Let me think of a real good one. Hmm. Got one!

You have 20 questions remaining.

I just realized we could probably guess the collector's info (all we need is the set and card number), which can be nailed down within 14 guesses, I think. Maybe one more in case of errata. Might be risky though if others don't follow along. Wink

And actually I do have another question for menace: how many guesses should we wait for before making another one?

No.

Is this card legal in standard play?

Yes.

You have 17 questions remaining.

Oh, and I'd prefer it if you didn't ask 2 questions in a row, to make sure everyone gets a chance.

I believe Menaca asked for 1 person to not ask more than one question in a row to allow others to have a shot Thumbs Up. Anyway Olorin85 all companion techincally have a resistance great than 0. The characters with the signets have resistance of 6 it's just not shown because of the signet Thumbs Up.

yes, all companions got a resistance more than zero... but Minions don't have got a resistance... btw, are follower characters?
Allies' resistance is zero... with my question I tried to figure out, if it's companion or not... ;-)

ok I got you LOL. Got confused guess I figured asking if the character was a companion would have been easier to say Thumbs Up.

Sorry for the delay. House-sitting and two jobs is eating my time!

Does it have a subtitle?

No. 16.

Is the character in the Hunters Block?

No. 15.

Does this caracter have a resistance more than zero 0?

I should refuse to answer this question (since one could argue this eliminates all Shadow cards), but I'll be generous this round. No, it does not. 14.
