***The FP is basically a "Tank"...boosting Isildur so he wins and heals...boosting Elendil so he can pump Aragorn, Isildur, or the Elves.***

***The SH revolves around exertions from Ugluk, Ugly Fellow, Tracking Uruk and Tracking The Prize.  Vile Pit and Grishnakh can bring Ugluk out at the most opportune times.  Thinking about trying to incorporate Cleaved into the mix, but I don't have that card...yet.***

I don't really see why you are using Galadriel in this deck...am I missing something? I would think that the Phial of Galadriel should be in the deck if you are going to use her as your Ring-Bearer.

This is the kind of deck that I think makes me want to try Standard. But maybe that's just because I'm not seeing the Shadow (Mountain Trolls? Wargs? Who knows?!)

Posted the Shadow side, Uruk Hunters with Grishnakh, Treacherous Captain.

The reason I'm using Galadriel is to keep it in tune with the "Old School" theme.  Didn't want to use Frodo or Boromir because these guys, except for Aragorn, made their Middle Earth entrance much later in the story.  Don't know if I explained that clearly enough, haha. 

Can't use Phial of Galadriel because it's not Standard.  The new version (Bloodlines) only applies to ring-bound hobbits.

Ack! My familiarity with Standard cards fails me again. I meant Galadriel's Silver Ewer, not the Phial of Galadriel.

Yeah, I'm working to get another one of those.  Was thinking about buying one from KingofMen, but decided to pass on it.

I guess I am just worried about your little Ring-Bearer. She's at best a 5-5-9 companion. With Galadriel's Silver Ewer she is 7-5-11 which still leaves her susceptible to being overwhelmed, especially with so few companions around.

I feel like Gil-Galad would fit into your "ancient" theme better than Aragorn. Even Elrond or Celeborn might slide in nicely, although you'd need more support.
