Aragorn, King in Exile x2 (starting) Arwen, Daughter of Elrond x2 Ranger's SwordAragorn's BowFlaming BrandGift of the EvenstarAsfaloth x2 The Last Alliance of Elves and Men x3 Elven BowThe Choice of LuthienHard Choice x4 Arwen's Fate x4 No Mere Ranger x4 Valiant Man of the West x4 Strength of Kings x4 Banner of the White Tree x2 An Able Guide x3 No Stranger to the Shadows x2 Gondor Bowmen x4 Prancing Pony to snag Arwen. Heavy reliance on exertions, hence Hard Choice x4, I want to cut this down to 35 in the least, but I also think it might be wiser to add extra Elves in for Last Alliance. Or Athelas to remove Shadow conditions from the companions, though it's still vulnerable to conditions in the Shadow's support area. Thoughts?

No Prancing Pony, seeing as this is Movie Block. I am noticing a severe lack of a Ring-Bearer and a Ring. There are better choices than to do a "Just Arwen and Aragorn" theme...both will be susceptible to Grima, Wormtongue because you will have to stack them with possessions just to win skirmishes. In the long run, I don't see this deck making it past site five in many games at all. No Stranger to the Shadows is X-ed in Movie Block. -wtk

Darn, how about a Fellowship/TTT block set then? For the ring, the regular ring would have to do vs Isildur's Bane in case corruption strikes. Perhaps to counter Grima more events, less possessions (and removal of Last Alliance) would work.

Seeing that you're considering other formats, in Expanded you could try an Arwen, She-Elf / Aragorn, DoFP token deck.

Do you have a potential decklist for that? I guess the above deck is a bit weak because it relies on exertions too much. No archery protection or corruption protection either. I suppose I would use Frodo, Reluctant Adventurer with Sting. Don't know how to fix the other problems though. :S

Honestly, decks with two strong companions seem more at home in Fellowship block, especially since every card that you've mentioned (except Hard Choice, which could be replaced by Might of Numenor) is already from sets 1-3. Then you could use the Prancing Pony, and you wouldn't have to worry about Wormtongue. Start Arwen and Sam, SoH, bid high, remove three burdens, then kill Sam off at site 2 (which would also buy you a little extra time to set up).

What cards would you recommend for Fellowship block? The others said this card set was weak. Of course the weapons+strength boosts ( Asfaloth, Gwemegil, etc) would be necessary....but what about condition removal and such? Would a splash Gandalf work, or would Elven allies be necessary? :S

If you want to stay in the theme of Arwen and Aragorn, you could add Elrond and Secret Sentinels.

If your playing fellowship "lovers" freeps check this link. http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,3174.0.htmlIt is meant to be used in FOTR but my friend revampted it for casual play. It works really well and as he mentions, bidding 7-8 burdens scares your opponent

Do you have a potential decklist for that? I haven't built one myself. I think the general idea is to combine them with Elladan / Elrohir (well, still in the family ), and use skirmish events in conjunction with Galadriel's Silver Ewer for tokens.

I've also heard of an Aragorn/Arwen & Faramir/Eowyn wounding deck.

If you want to stay in the theme of Arwen and Aragorn, you could add Elrond and Secret Sentinels. Galadriel is her aunt I would also add another companion: Sam (burdenremoval and connected with Frodo) Legolas (relation is that he gives the necklace back to Ari) and otherwise I would suggest Glorfindel; as the #$&*@! stole his part and horse in the film... Shame on her!!!

I think the banned Galadriel Lady Redeemed would be nice too, in Open....still not quite sure what I'd do with the decklist. Aside from Elven Supplies and Namarie, what Elven conditions add tokens? Would Elven tokens work better with Elven telepathy stuff?
