After seeing G-E's Gollum, Keeper of Beasts deck, I designed a Invincible kill deck. Unable to take wounds at a battleground, with a few Ghastly Wounds, extremely dangerous creatures. With Gollum adding threats, death is bad news for the FP. 1x Final Strike (10R20) 3x Not Alone ( 12U39) 3x Not Easily Avoided ( 18R32) 3x Suffered Much Loss ( 10U35) 4x Captured by the Ring ( 7C53) 3x Ghastly Wound ( 18C117) 4x Led Astray ( 11U45) 2x So Polite ( 7R74) 2x Strange and Terrible ( 11U52) 2x Sudden Strike ( 15U51) 1x *Gollum, Hopeless ( 15R43) 2x *Gollum, Skulker ( 11R42) 1x *Gollum, Threatening Guide ( 19P10) 4x Invincible Uruk ( 11S190) Load up with mountains and undergrounds and use Not Alone. In expanded, I would add Evil-Smelling Fens for more Invincible recursion! Just an idea, let me know what you think. |

I like it a lot, but I do wonder whether you can get your Uruk strong enough. A 11 strength minion -base- isn't frightening anymore. I remember the days when I started, and was facing a Uruk- hai Raiding Party.....I was scared  And ofcourse seeing that my Gollum theme as a keeper of nastyness is being used makes me enjoy reading stuff like this  Maybe Fat One Wants it for extra threats, and maybe something to pump your Invincible Uruk. But we can all agree that Gollum is an awesome sidekick! |

...I can see my LoI deck getting annoyed by this. *LOL* More minions could be nice in case Not Alone is discarded and the fellowship makes a run for it. Mauhur, Relentless Hunter can mess around with assignments. Saruman, Agent of the Dark Lord can help your  minions win their skirmishes (since even wounding decks might use Valor, Final Shot, Cirdan, etc.) I like it a lot, but I do wonder whether you can get your Uruk strong enough. I remember the days when I started, and was facing a Uruk- hai Raiding Party.....I was scared Haha, or when companions were in danger of being overwhelmed by Attea KoDG at site 2. And The Witch-king, Lord of Angmar with Black Steed and The Pale Blade struck fear into the hearts of many! |

Try Barbaric Uruk and Mauhur with more Shelob to mess up the assignment phase.  Need strength? Run AE Nertea and Ferny, SSF. Easy strength pump for your Invincible Uruk. That'll help cover all your bases instead of being hit-or-miss vs wounding decks. |
