This emoticon represents my motivation for making this deck: Brick Wall

Because I feel like whoever made these cards didn't mean for them to actually work.

Power Dunlendings:

2x Dunlending Footmen
2x Hides
2x Ravage the Defeated
3x Hill Clan
3x Hillman Mob
3x Dunlending Arsonist
4x Wild Men of the Hills
3x War Club
2x War Cry of Dunland
2x Too Long Have These Peasants Stood
1x Constantly Threatening
4x Dark Fury

Before you comment, just know that I only have two Hides, so I'm not just being an idiot.  The strategy of this deck is simple:

1. Refuse to play anyone using archery or direct wounding.

2.  Win skirmishes and capitalize on your opponent's weakness!  Ravage them!  Destroy their support area!  Play a damage+2 Wild Men of the Hills!

But seriously, is there any way to make this deck work?  Or should I just give up?

Because you don't have 4 Hides, you could add 1 or 2 Bound By Rage and remove your Rage the Defeated which aren't that good because you already have War Club to remove possessions and Too Long Have These Peasants Stood to get rid of the conditions.

Here is a deck posted by MuadiB a few months ago. It looks a lot like yours. Maybe that it can help you.

Shadow (33)
4x War Cry of Dunland (4C37
2x *Saruman, Rabble-rouser (4R33
4x Dunlending Arsonist (4U9
3x Dunlending Reserve (6C5
3x Hill Clan (6R6
4x Hillman Mob (4R23
3x Wild Men of the Hills (5R4
4x Hides (4R19
3x Iron Axe (4C26
3x War Club (4U36)

wow I totally missed MaudiB's deck.  I wouldn't have posted this if I'd seen it.

Anyway, Bound by Rage requires three twilight plus a two minion spot, which (considering how expensive these dudes are), isn't likely to happen.  I would have to add it anyway if I took this deck seriously, but I don't.  It's an alternative to site control because I only have one Freca and he's an expensive card to buy.

It just seems that these boys don't have what it takes.  (Which is probably why they don't get played much).

Dunland is awesome. I don't know what you are talking about.

I agree that site-control dunland is amazing, but what about these "win a skirmish to play a minion" types?  They are just too easily circumvented.

And (as ket wisely pointed on a different topic) if you happen to unexpectedly lose the initial skirmish you are left with serious hand clog.

But maybe it was the fact that I was playtesting this deck in movie block.

There you go. This strategy is good in TT block.
