Just tried making something for movie, since Rohan seems to suck in standard. They should be able to kill stuff, and allow double-move. I bolded should, because I haven't tried this deck out yet, but I believe I can get a few good pointers here. ^^

Easterlings are just the ones my friend usually played against me.

Comments on both freeps and shadow are very much appreciated!

Should I drop, let's say, Easterling Captain, Easterling Army and Desert Legion (each x2) to drop in 3 Small Hope and 3 Easterling Polearm?

I would play less Gathering to the Summons, maybe 2 or 3 and 3 Visions from Afar.  I would drop the Desert Legions and add another Captain.  Another thing to do is drop 1 New Fear and 1 Surging Up and that should give you room for Polearms and Small Hope.  Another thing I found useful is Easterling Regiment when Easterling Captain is out.

Quick thought on the Freeps, Eomer's ability won't be useful because if you're getting companions with Siblemyne, you won't be able to grab the weapons or events.  Probably TMotR is your best bet.  Maybe also a different Eowyn, as you are not focused on wounding minions.  Dernhelm would be nice here probably.

There is no reason you need Gathering to the Summons in Movie Block. Most [good] players don't run more than one or two Ring-Bound companions beyond the Ring-Bearer anyways.

Maybe have two if it is a meta decision.

No reason for Desert Legion at all.

Personally, I think it works well with Visions from Afar.  If they assign to try to avoid the burden, they get one anyway.  Still don't need many copies though.

That should be just about perfect. As for the free peoples, drop Hobbit Sword and add any Sting. Drop all of the pumps and add four Thundering Host, one Eowyn's Sword, Dernhelm's Blade, one Brego, two Fortress Never Fallen, one Leowyn, and one Deor. Drop both Mustering for Battle and add one Arrow-Slits and one Armory or a copy of The Tale of the Great Ring if you think you need more Frodo protection. The deck is 34/34 now.

P.S., use any ring besides Isildur's Bane. Answer to All Riddles or Such a Weight to Carry make Isildur's Bane largely inferior in Movie Block.

Ooh...what is you're deck list?

That one is actually my brother's, our how I remember it at least. I am almost positive he has a copy of Feat One Wants It in his, and he uses two We Must Have It with there Captured By the Ring. His deck is a little bigger though.
