Copycat. Anyways, the right way to run it is the 9 comp starting fellowship with Denethor that nabs your stuff at 3. That's a deck that won't die. Then gorn's bow, of course.

Nice tourney stuff. He stole the idea from a deck I used to pummel him, BTW.

I don't get it. How can you use Whirling Strike when you have no [Raider] men in the deck?

He may have meant that other [Men] card exactly like that. Sadly the name slips my mind. Has to do with being at a battleground and removing 3 to wound them again. What is the name? Whirling Death maybe?

Ach. Sorry for not posting a notice.

All posts complaining about the deck being broken, and the subsequent argument have been split and archived. I must also apologize for making inflammatory comments, so sorry guys.

In the future, do try to remember the axiom, "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all." This isn't to say that you can't criticize something, but try to be constructive in your posts.

Wow everyone I didnt want to cause a fuss, just a killer deck using cards I have not used before.

Anyhow, I have considered Saruman, SoS for extra exertions with Isengard Ruined. Run against a IB deck my Shadow will fall quickly, so its by no means unstoppable. And a good way to take down IB? Evil Men support area possessions.

NB is right, the first time we played SdA he pounded me with this IB build. It hurt. I have waited a long time to build my own.

As for companions the old Rule of 5 was lingering in my head as I built it.

Cant wait to use it!!

Saruman shouldn't be necessary. I was surprised you didn't have a set of Lackeys in there. As well as Black Land Chieftain, expanded format is very condition heavy. [Orc] has just as much as [Men] to offer in the way of wounding. I personally like wrapping up the game with a Black Gate Sentry/Black Land Chieftain combo to form a post-archery finisher on the same turn as the combo.

Though I suppose you could just pack Anduin Banks.

Sounds fun, i would give youa  try but against my movie block decks you probable will win without to much problem... Anyway if you want to test it anyway just pm or msn me if you see me around...

For the deck... have you consider to put some condition discard just to get rid of some key condition?

Madril isn´t x-listed for expanded? Or just for Standard?

I'd suggest adding triple-moving capability since that may be the deciding factor at this kind of level. Radagast x2, Last Throw x2 can really take advantage of poor draws on your opponent's end.

It's still legal in Expanded.

Okay, with time to look more closely at your deck, I'd try this. Drop all your [Orc] minions in favor of another Demoralized, Black Gate Sentrys, Black Land Chieftain and Lackeys. The combo does a good enough job of exerting guys without the [Orc] dudes. ;)

I dont see the point of Demoralized in an [Orc] wounding deck, unless I'm missing something.

Rallying Orc + Mountain Troll + low-cost lurkers in discard BUT that's another story.  :hey:

Its not solely [Orc] wounding, but has the Rapid Reload engine, but I'm saying you should have the [Orc] dudes that wound so you can maximize the effectiveness of the deck.

If you want a guaranteed IB early run Boromir, Proud and Noble Man and pull him with Prancing Pony. When played grab your IB with his text .

I dont see the point of Demoralized in an [Orc] wounding deck, unless I'm missing something.

Demoralized and Rapid Reload are cool combo, but Demoralized is restricted card, so you can play only one copy in deck.

Unless I'm missing something demoralized is x-listed in standard format and isn't banned or restricted in expanded. I just read through the CRD from August '07 so maybe there is a more current one in need to get my hands on .

Demoralized isnt restricted (or unique for that matter) so its a nasty combo with Rapid Reload.

It'll be the first card banned, or maybe the second to Erkenbrand's Horn, as soon as a PC comes out.

Restricted would be fine.  Same thing with Rapid Reload.  That card can be disgusting.

If all your IBs get discarded, then you are probably playing Corsairs and all your bows will be discarded as well. Still very nice, though I'd prefer 2 of Gorn's Bow vs Faramir's.

um why do you only have 1 thorongil in it... unless you're planning to pull him with the prancing pony, in my version of this deck i use strider and dump a prowler cause then gorn can start and i pull boromir with prancing pony
